The atomizing device includes an atomizingsleeve 1, a liquid reservingmember 14 and aheating coil assembly 10 received in the atomizingsleeve 1, amouthpiece 3, ascrew sleeve 5, an electrode ring 6 fixed in thescrew sleeve 5 and an insulatedring 11 fixed between the electrode ring 6 and thescrew sleeve 5. Themouthpiece 3 and thescrew sleeve 5 are respectively engaged to two ends of the atomizingsleeve 1 tightly. In the present embodiment, theheating coil assembly 10 includes a glass fiber core and a heating coil wrapping around the glass fiber core. Two ends of the heating coil are respectively connected with thescrew sleeve 5 and the electrode ring 6. The liquid reservingmember 14 is applied to contain tobacco solution. In addition, the liquid reservingmember 14 includes at least two layers with different densities. Furthermore, the atomizing device does not include an air pipe. - An
air passage 15 is formed in a center of the liquid reservingmember 14, and theheating coil assembly 10 is received in theair passage 15. During work, theheating coil assembly 10 absorbs the tobacco solution from the liquid reservingmember 14 and atomizes the tobacco solution; the atomized tobacco solution flows out from theair passage 15 finally. - In the present embodiment, there is no liquid obstructing ring arranged between the
mouthpiece 3 and the atomizingsleeve 1. Themouthpiece 3 may press upon the liquid reservingmember 14 directly, in this situation, the liquid reservingmember 14 will not be moved in the atomizingsleeve 1 when the electronic cigarette surfers from vibration. However, in other embodiments, themouthpiece 3 does not have to press upon the liquid reservingmember 14 when the liquid reservingmember 14 is fixed steadily in the atomizingsleeve 1. Furthermore, themouthpiece 3 may keep a distance in a range between 3-4 mm from the liquid reservingmember 14, and a space (seeFIGS. 1 and 4 ) is formed between themouthpiece 3 and the liquid reservingmember 14 to reduce a risk of choking the tobacco solution. - Specifically, in the present embodiment, the liquid reserving
member 14 includes a first layer 9 made of a cotton cloth and a second layer 7 made of a liquid absorbing cotton. The first layer 9 is denser but thinner than the second layer 7, thereby the first layer 9 acts as obstructing the liquid and the second layer 7 acts as reserving the liquid, and two ends of the glass fiber core can extend towards the first layer 9. - Referring to
FIG. 2 , in the present embodiment, a knurling 51 is formed at an outer wall of thescrew sleeve 5, an external surface of theknurling 51 is coated with a sealant and then connected to the atomizingsleeve 1. Due to the knurling 51, a great amount of sealant may be filled in grooves of the knurling 51. After theknurling 51 is connected to the atomizingsleeve 1, a sealed structure between thescrew sleeve 5 and the atomizingsleeve 1 is formed. In addition, thescrew sleeve 5 has two parts, one part has the knurling 51 to be connected to the atomizingsleeve 1, and the other part has anouter screw 52 which may facilitate connect and disconnect to other components. Anair channel 53 is formed in a peripheral wall of thescrew sleeve 5, and a diameter of theair channel 53 is selected in a range between 0.6 mm to 1.0 mm in view of reducing noise generated by air flowing through theair channel 53. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , ascrew sleeve 5 in accordance with a second embodiment is provided. In the present embodiment, a knurling 51 is formed at an outer wall of thescrew sleeve 5, and aninner screw 55 is formed in an internal surface of thescrew sleeve 5 to connect with the atomizingsleeve 1. Air channels 54 are formed at the bottom of thescrew sleeve 5. However, in other embodiments, there is no need to set theair channels 53 or 54 when air flows through from a front end of the electronic cigarette (seeFIG. 9 ); and when the knurling 51 is formed at the outer wall of thescrew sleeve 5, asealing cover 8 ofFIG. 10 may not have to be arranged between thescrew sleeve 5 and the atomizingsleeve 1. - Referring to
FIGS. 4 and 5 , an atomizingdevice 1 in accordance with a third embodiment is provided. The atomizingdevice 1 includes not only all the elements in the first embodiment but also an air pipe 2. A liquid reservingmember 14 is wrapped around the air pipe 2. The liquid reservingmember 14 includes a first layer 9 made of a cotton cloth and a second layer 7 made of a liquid absorbing cotton. The first layer 9 which is denser but thinner than the second layer 7 directly wraps around the external surface of the air pipe 2. As known, a fluidity of the liquid is poorer in the denser material, which may prevent liquid from immersing into aheating coil assembly 10 and burying theheating coil assembly 10, meanwhile can avoid leaking. - Referring to
FIGS. 6 and 7 , one end of the air pipe 2 which is connected to thescrew sleeve 5 includes two 21 and 22, and a space is formed between theconnectors 21 and 22, then theconnectors heating coil assembly 10 is received in the space. Thescrew sleeve 5 has a ring-shaped groove 56 and the ends of both the 21 and 22 are inserted into the ring-shaped groove 56. Then two arc-connectors shaped wedges 12, which respectively pressing on the external surface of each of the 21 and 22, are arranged in the ring-shaped groove 56 via interference fit. Due to theconnectors wedges 12, a procedure of gluing for fixing the air pipe 2 can be omitted, thereby saving a time to wait the glue dry and increasing efficiency of producing the electronic cigarettes. However, in other embodiments, the air pipe 2 may include more than two connectors. - Referring to
FIG. 7 , the number of thewedges 12 is equal to the number of the 21 and 22. In the present embodiment, to increase a contacting area between theconnectors wedges 12 and the 21 and 22, a length of each of theconnectors wedges 12 is selected being a little longer than the corresponding 21 and 22, as a result, theconnectors screw sleeve 5 may generate a strong force for steadily fixing the air pipe 2. - In the present embodiment, the
wedges 12 are made of a plastic material. In other embodiments, thewedges 12 may also be made of a metallic material, a silicone material or a rubber material. - Referring to

In the present embodiment, awedge 12 is ring-shaped, and there are pressing 121 and 122 respectively formed on therecesses wedge 12 to facilitate assembly. Specifically, a cutout is formed on the ring of thewedge 12, and achamfer 120 is formed in the cutout of thewedge 12. - Referring to
FIG. 9 , an electronic cigarette including anatomizing device 1 and a battery assembly 16 in accordance with a fifth embodiment is provided, the battery assembly 16 is electrically connected to theatomizing device 1. - It is understood that the above-described embodiments are intended to illustrate rather than limit the disclosure. Variations may be made to the embodiments and methods without departing from the spirit of the disclosure. Accordingly, it is appropriate that the appended claims be construed broadly and in a manner consistent with the scope of the disclosure.
