Abstract
An enhanced heel shoe attachment device attaches to a low heeled or flat shoe to convert the shoe into a high heeled shoe. The device includes a sole extension having a bottom surface, a top surface, and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. Each of a plurality of clips is coupled to the sole extension. The clips are arranged around a perimeter of the top surface of the sole extension. Each clip has a distal portion relative to the sole extension extending over the top surface of the sole extension wherein the clips are configured for engaging a sole of a flat soled shoe wherein the sole extension extends downwardly from the sole.
Description
- The disclosure relates to shoe devices and more particularly pertains to a new shoe device for attaching to a low heeled or flat shoe to convert the shoe into a high heeled shoe.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a sole extension having a bottom surface, a top surface, and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending between the top surface and the bottom surface.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a top front side perspective view of a enhanced heel shoe attachment device according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a partially exploded top front side perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a side view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the disclosure taken along line 4-4 ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 5 is a bottom view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 6 is a top front side perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new shoe device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 6 , the enhanced heelshoe attachment device 10 generally comprises asole extension 12 having abottom surface 14, atop surface 16, and aperimeter wall 18 coupled to and extending between thetop surface 16 and thebottom surface 14. - In an embodiment shown in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , a plurality ofclips 20 is coupled to thesole extension 12. Theclips 20 are arranged around aperimeter 22 of thetop surface 16 of thesole extension 12. Eachclip 20 has adistal portion 24 relative to thesole extension 12 extending over thetop surface 16 of thesole extension 12. Thus, theclips 20 are configured for engaging a sole 26 of a flatsoled shoe 28 such that thesole extension 12 extends downwardly from the sole 26. Theshoe 28 may then be worn with thesole extension 12 as a heeled shoe. Theclips 20 include aback clip 30 extending along aback end 32 of thesole extension 12. Theclips 20 may also include at least one or a spaced pair offront clips 34 extending along afront side 36 of thesole extension 12. Theclips 20 may further include a plurality oflateral clips 38. Eachlateral clip 38 extends along an associatedlateral side 40 of thesole extension 12. - A
cavity 42 extends into thetop surface 16 of thesole extension 12. Thecavity 42 is positioned adjacent to theback end 32 of thesole extension 12 wherein thecavity 42 is configured to receive aheel 44 extending from the sole 26 when the sole 26 is coupled to thesole extension 12. Abottom surface 48 of thecavity 42 may be sloped wherein thebottom surface 48 extends downwardly and away from theback end 32 of thesole extension 12. Apanel 50 may be coupled to and cover completely thebottom surface 14 of thesole extension 12. Thepanel 50 may be comprised of a soft material such as fabric, resilient rubber, or the like. - In an embodiment shown in
FIG. 6 , thedevice 10 provides for asingle bracket 56 being utilized instead of theclips 20. Otherwise, thedevice 10 has similar structure. Except as specifically noted, for all structures which are not mutually exclusive, elements of the embodiments may be combined or interchanged. Thebracket 56 is coupled to thesole extension 12 extending around theperimeter 22 of thetop surface 16 of thesole extension 12. Thebracket 56 has adistal portion 58 relative to thesole extension 12 extending over thetop surface 16 of thesole extension 12. Thebracket 56 is configured for engaging the sole 26 of the flatsoled shoe 28 wherein thesole extension 12 extends downwardly from the sole 26. Thebracket 56 has amedial section 60 extending along theback end 32 of thesole extension 12 andouter sections 62 extending along respectivelateral sides 40 of thesole extension 12. Thebracket 56 may extend a minimum of 60% of thetotal perimeter 22 around thetop surface 16 of thesole extension 12 to provide secure coupling of thesole extension 12 to theshoe 28. - In use, the
shoe 28 is coupled to thesole extension 12 by inserting the sole 26 of theshoe 28 into engagement with theclips 20 orbracket 56. Theshoe 28 is then worn in a conventional manner coupled to and supported on thedevice 10. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure.
