Abstract
A foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air includes a pump, piston rod, a valve seat sheathed on the piston rod, a feed pipe coupled to the pump, a feed check valve for feeding a foam soap and a discharge check valve installed in the pump, an air-liquid mixing chamber formed between the feed check valve and the discharge check valve, an air-intake pipe communicated with an air-liquid mixing chamber, and an air-intake hole formed on the air-intake pipe that connects the air-liquid mixing chamber. The air-intake pipe includes an air-intake check valve, a screw sleeve and an air adjusting screw rod. The screw sleeve is fixed to the air-intake pipe, and the air adjusting screw rod is fixed into the screw sleeve and passed through a through hole of the screw rod of the check valve to insert the screw rod into the air-intake hole.
Description
- 1. Field of Invention
- The present invention relates to a soap dispenser, and particularly to a foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- In general, a soap dispenser is a common washing appliance used in kitchen or bathroom, and the soap dispenser is generally installed at a position adjacent to a faucet of a sink and provided for people to wash their hands or clean objects. The conventional foam soap dispenser comprises a press pump, a liquid soap chamber disposed in the pump, a check valve installed in the pump for passing a liquid soap through the pump and out of a nozzle disposed at the top of the soap dispenser, and an air-intake hole formed at the liquid soap chamber for mixing the liquid soap with air to produce foams. However, the foam soap dispenser of this sort is manufactured with a design of having a fixed amount of intake air, so that the mount of air cannot be adjusted anymore after the manufacture. If there is too much air during the use of the foam soap dispenser, the expected cleaning effect cannot be achieved. If there is too little air during the use of the foam soap dispenser, the liquid soap will be wasted. Obviously, the conventional foam soap dispenser requires improvements.
- In view of the shortcomings of the conventional foam soap dispenser, it is a primary objective of the present invention to overcome the shortcomings by developing a foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of intake air and prevent the situations of having insufficient liquid soap or wasting the liquid soap.
- To achieve the foregoing objective, the present invention provides a foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of intake air, comprising a pump, a piston rod, a valve seat sheathed on the top of piston rod, a feed pipe coupled to the bottom of the pump, a feed check valve for feeding a foam soap in a single direction and a discharge check valve installed in the pump, and a restoring spring installed and acted between the feed check valve and the discharge check valve, and the discharge check valve dividing the pump into a discharge chamber and an air-liquid mixing chamber, and the air-liquid mixing chamber being formed between the feed check valve and the discharge check valve, characterized in that a sidewall of the air-liquid mixing chamber is communicated with an air-intake pipe, and an air-intake hole is formed on the sidewall of the air-intake pipe that connects the air-liquid mixing chamber, and the air-intake pipe includes an air-intake check valve, a screw sleeve and an air adjusting screw rod sequentially installed from the inside to the outside along the radial direction of the air-intake hole, and the screw sleeve and the air-intake pipe are fixed and coupled to each other, and the screw sleeve has a flange abutting at a base of the air-intake check valve, and a through hole of the screw rod is formed at the bottom of the air-intake check valve, and the air adjusting screw rod is fixed into screw sleeve and passed through the through hole of the screw rod of the check valve, so that an end of the screw rod can be inserted into the air-intake hole.
- Wherein, the discharge check valve includes a first rubber base and a first blocking edge surrounding the periphery of the first rubber base and having a cross-section substantially being V-shaped opening, and the feed check valve includes a second rubber base and a second blocking edge surrounding the periphery of the second rubber base and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening, and the V-shaped openings of the first and the second blocking edges are aligned in the same direction.
- Wherein, the air-intake check valve includes a third rubber base and a third blocking edge surrounding the periphery of the rubber base and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening.
- Wherein, the piston rod has a through hole for delivering the foam soap, and the piston rod includes has radial hole, and the rubber base of the discharge check valve has an protruded embedding portion for sealing the through hole of the piston rod, and the embedding portion seals an end of the through hole, and the discharge chamber is communicated with the through hole through the radial hole.
- Wherein, the base of the screw sleeve has a bump, and an end of the air-intake pipe has a buckle corresponding to the bump, and the screw sleeve is buckled to the end of the air-intake pipe.
- Wherein, the bottom of the air-intake check valve and a through hole of the screw rod have an interference fit.
- Wherein, the screw sleeve includes an inner thread corresponding to the screw rod, and an end of the screw rod proximate to the air-intake hole is in a conical shape.
- Wherein, the valve seat is sheathed on the top of the piston rod, and the piston rod is movably installed in the valve seat, and the piston rod and the valve seat further have a first sealing ring installed therein.
- Wherein, a second sealing ring is installed between the valve seat and the pump.

- With reference to
FIGS. 1 and 2 for a foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air in accordance with the present invention, the foam soap dispenser is generally installed at a position adjacent to a hand-washing sink, and comprises apump 1, a piston rod 2, avalve seat 3 sheathed on the top of piston rod 2, a feed pipe 4 coupled to the bottom of thepump 1, a liquid soap bottle coupled to the bottom of the feed pipe 4 for storing liquid soap, a feed check valve 6 and a discharge check valve 5 installed in the pump for feeding foam soap in a single direction, and a restoring spring 7 installed and acted between the feed check valve 6 and the discharge check valve 5, wherein the discharge check valve 5 divides thepump 1 into a discharge chamber 11 and an air-liquid mixing chamber 12, and after the foam soap is mixed in the discharge chamber 11, the foam soap passes through the discharge check valve and enters into a chamber, and an air-liquid mixing chamber 12 is formed between the feed check valve 6 and the discharge check valve 5 and communicated with the air-intake pipe 13, and an air-intake hole 14 is formed on a sidewall of the air-intake pipe 13 that is coupled to the air-liquid mixing chamber, and the air-intake pipe 13 includes an air-intake check valve 8, a screw sleeve 9 and an air adjusting screw rod 10 sequentially installed from the inside to the outside along the radial direction of the air-intake hole 14, and the screw sleeve 9 and the air-intake pipe 13 are fixed and coupled to each other, and the screw sleeve 9 has a flange 91 abutting at a base of the air-intake check valve 8, and a through hole 81 of the screw rod 10 is formed at the bottom of the air-intake check valve 8, and the air adjusting screw rod 10 is fixed into screw sleeve 9 and passed through a through hole of the check valve of the screw rod 10, so that an end of the screw rod 10 can be inserted into the air-intake hole 14. Abump 93 is formed at a base of the screw sleeve 9, and abuckle 131 is installed at an end of the air-intake pipe 13 and corresponding to thebump 93, and the screw sleeve 9 is buckled to an end of the air-intake pipe 13. - The discharge check valve 5 includes a first rubber base 51 and a first blocking edge 52 surrounding the periphery of the first rubber base 51 and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening, and the feed check valve 6 includes a second rubber base 61 and a second blocking
edge 62 surrounding the second rubber base 61 and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening, and the V-shaped openings of the first andsecond blocking edges 52, 62 are aligned in the same direction. The air-intake check valve 8 includes a third rubber base 81 and a third blockingedge 82 surrounding the periphery of the third rubber base 81 and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening. Therefore, the feed chamber is at a sealed status when the soap dispenser is not in use, and the space of the feed check valve, the discharge check valve and the air-intake check valve 8 communicated with the air-intake hole is in a sealed status. - The piston rod 2 has a through
hole 21 for delivering a foam soap, and the piston rod 2 further has aradial hole 22, and the rubber base of the discharge check valve has a protruded embedding portion 53 for sealing the throughhole 21 of the piston rod 2, and an end of the embedding portion seals the throughhole 21, and the discharge chamber 11 is communicated with the throughhole 21 through theradial hole 22. - With reference to
FIG. 3 for an application, the piston rod 2 is pressed down to compress the discharge chamber 11, so that the first blocking edge 52 of the discharge check valve 5 is retracted by the discharge chamber 11 that is compressed by pressure, and the mixed foam soap is sent upwardly. In the meantime, the discharge chamber 11 compressed by pressure drives the second blockingedge 62 of the feed check valve 6 and the third blockingedge 82 of the air-intake check valve 8 to expand outwardly to seal the air-liquid mixing chamber 12. - In
FIG. 4 , the piston rod 2 is pressed all the way to the bottom and then released, and the piston rod is moved up and down by the action of the restoring spring 7. Now, the air-liquid mixing chamber 12 is increased, and the second blockingedge 62 of the feed check valve 6 and the third blockingedge 82 of the air-intake check valve 8 are compressed by pressure and retracted, so that air is mixed with the liquid soap. In the meantime, the first blocking edge 52 of the discharge check valve 5 is compressed to expand outwardly. - A through hole 83 of the screw rod 10 formed at the bottom of the air-intake check valve 8 and the screw rod 10 have an interference fit, and the screw sleeve 9 has an inner thread formed therein and corresponding to the screw rod, and an end of the screw rod proximate to the air-intake hole is in a conical shape.
- When it is necessary to adjust the amount of intake air, the screw rod 10 is rotated to adjust the conical portion of the screw rod to be inserted into the air-intake hole 10 in order to increase or decrease the air-intake area of the air-intake hole and adjust the amount of intake air. Since the sealed space of the discharge check valve 5, the feed check valve 6, and the air-intake check valve 8 communicated with the air-intake hole is constant, therefore an increase of air intake will cause a decrease of the amount of incoming liquid soap, or a decrease of air intake will cause an increase of the amount of incoming liquid soap to maintain a balance of pressure, so as to achieve the effect of adjusting the mixture ratio of air to liquid soap.
- The
valve seat 3 is sheathed on the top of the piston rod 2, and the piston rod 2 is movably installed in thevalve seat 3, and the piston rod and thevalve seat 3 further include afirst sealing ring 231 installed therein, and asecond sealing ring 131 is installed between thevalve seat 3 and thepump 1 to improve the sealability of the chamber. - By rotating the screw rod 10, the present invention can adjust the air amount of intake air of the foam soap dispenser as required, and prevent the situations of having insufficient liquid soap or wasting the liquid soap.

A foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air, comprising a pump, a piston rod, a valve seat sheathed on the top of piston rod, a feed pipe coupled to the bottom of the pump, a feed check valve for feeding a foam soap in a single direction and a discharge check valve installed in the pump, and a restoring spring installed and acted between the feed check valve and the discharge check valve, and the discharge check valve dividing the pump into a discharge chamber and an air-liquid mixing chamber, and the air-liquid mixing chamber being formed between the feed check valve and the discharge check valve, characterized in that a sidewall of the air-liquid mixing chamber is communicated with an air-intake pipe, and an air-intake hole is formed on the sidewall of the air-intake pipe that connects the air-liquid mixing chamber, and the air-intake pipe includes an air-intake check valve, a screw sleeve and an air adjusting screw rod sequentially installed from the inside to the outside along the radial direction of the air-intake hole, and the screw sleeve and the air-intake pipe are fixed and coupled to each other, and the screw sleeve has a flange abutting at a base of the air-intake check valve, and a through hole of the screw rod is formed at the bottom of the air-intake check valve, and the air adjusting screw rod is fixed into screw sleeve and passed through the through hole of the screw rod of the check valve, so that an end of the screw rod can be inserted into the air-intake hole.

The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , wherein the discharge check valve includes a first rubber base and a first blocking edge surrounding the periphery of the first rubber base and having a cross-section substantially being V-shaped opening, and the feed check valve includes a second rubber base and a second blocking edge surrounding the periphery of the second rubber base and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening, and the V-shaped openings of the first and the second blocking edges are aligned in the same direction.
3. The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , wherein the air-intake check valve includes a third rubber base and a third blocking edge surrounding the periphery of the rubber base and having a cross-section substantially being a V-shaped opening.

The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 2 , wherein the piston rod has a through hole for delivering the foam soap, and the piston rod includes has radial hole, and the rubber base of the discharge check valve has an protruded embedding portion for sealing the through hole of the piston rod, and the embedding portion seals an end of the through hole, and the discharge chamber is communicated with the through hole through the radial hole.
5. The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , wherein the base of the screw sleeve has a bump, and an end of the air-intake pipe has a buckle corresponding to the bump, and the screw sleeve is buckled to the end of the air-intake pipe.
6. The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , wherein the bottom of the air-intake check valve and a through hole of the screw rod have an interference fit.
7. The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , wherein the screw sleeve includes an inner thread corresponding to the screw rod, and an end of the screw rod proximate to the air-intake hole is in a conical shape.
8. The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , wherein the valve seat is sheathed on the top of the piston rod, and the piston rod is movably installed in the valve seat, and the piston rod and the valve seat further have a first sealing ring installed therein.
9. The foam soap dispenser capable of adjusting the amount of air according to claim 1 , further comprising a second sealing ring installed between the valve seat and the pump.
