Abstract
Description
- 1. Technical Field
- The present disclosure relates to an electronic device rack.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- A vending machine generally includes a rack. The rack includes a plurality of support legs and a plurality of mounting members. A plurality of screws is screwed to the mounting members and support legs to secure them together, requiring the use of a tool, which is inefficient. Therefore, there is room for improvement within the art.
- Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded, isometric view of an electronic device rack in accordance with one embodiment. -
FIG. 2 is an isometric view of a mounting member ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is similar toFIG. 2 , but viewed from a different aspect. -
FIG. 4 is an assembled view of the electronic device rack ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 5 is an enlarged view of a circled portion V ofFIG. 4 . -
FIG. 6 is another assembled view of the electronic device rack ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 7 is an enlarged view of a circled portion VII ofFIG. 6 . -
FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of a circled portion VIII ofFIG. 6 . -
FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view of the electronic device rack taken along a line IX-IX ofFIG. 6 . - The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean “at least one.”
-
FIGS. 1 and 2 , an electronic device rack includes twoside frames 100. Eachside frame 100 includes afirst support leg 10, asecond support leg 30, and a plurality of mountingmembers 50 mounted between thefirst support leg 10 and thesecond support leg 30. The twofirst support legs 10 and the twosecond support legs 30 are parallel to each other. - The
first support leg 10 defines a plurality oflatching holes 11 and a plurality of installation holes 13 (shown inFIG. 7 ). The plurality oflatching holes 11 and the plurality ofinstallation holes 13 are both linearly arranged. Eachlatching hole 11 is elongated. The arrangement direction of thelatching holes 11 is substantially parallel to the arrangement direction of theinstallation holes 13 and is substantially parallel to thesecond support leg 30. Thesecond support leg 30 defines a plurality of inserting holes 31 (shown inFIG. 8 ). The insertingholes 31 are linearly arranged. The arrangement direction of the insertingholes 31 is substantially parallel to the arrangement direction of thelatching holes 11. Theinserting hole 31 is elongated. -
FIGS. 3 and 4 show that eachmounting member 50 includes amember body 51, alatching tab 53 extending from themember body 51, and aninserting tab 55 extending from themember body 51. Eachlatching tab 53 is L-shaped and engages in theinstallation hole 13. Thelatching tab 53 includes abending portion 531 extending from themember body 51 and twolatching portions 533 extending from thebending portion 531. Theinserting tab 55 is L-shaped and inserted in theinserting hole 31. - The
inserting tab 55 includes a connectingportion 551 extending from themember body 51 and an inserting portion 553 perpendicularly extending from the connectingportion 551. Themounting member 50 further includes aresilient piece 57. Themember body 51 defines anopening 511 adjacent to thelatching tab 53. Theresilient piece 57 is positioned on the opening 511 and includes a resilient portion 571 a stoppingportion 573, and an actuatingportion 575. Theresilient portion 571 extends towards thelatching tab 53 from a first edge of the opening 511. An acute angle is defined between theresilient portion 571 and themember body 51. The stoppingportion 573 extends from a free end of theresilient portion 571 and is perpendicular to themember body 51. The actuatingportion 575 extends from a free end of thestopping portion 573 and is substantially perpendicular to the stoppingportion 573. The extension direction of the actuatingmember 575 is parallel to themember body 51. Themounting members 50 further includes a slidingportion 59 inwardly and perpendicularly extending from themember body 51. -
FIGS. 5 to 9 show that, in assembly, theinserting tab 55 of themounting member 50 corresponds to the insertingholes 31 of thesecond support legs 30, and the twolatching portions 533 of thelatching tab 53 correspond to twoinstallation holes 13. Theresilient piece 57 is pulled out to deform theresilient portion 571. Simultaneously, themounting member 50 moves along a first direction towards thesecond support legs 30 to enable theinserting tab 55 to be inserted into theinserting hole 31. The twolatching portions 533 of themounting member 50 are inserted into the twoinstallation holes 13, to prevent themounting member 50 from moving along a first direction that is perpendicular to thefirst support leg 10, and a second direction that is parallel to thefirst support leg 10. At this time, theresilient piece 57 is released and theresilient portion 571 resiliently rebounds to engage the stoppingportion 573 with an edge of thecorresponding latching hole 11, to prevent themounting member 50 from moving along a third direction opposite to the second direction. Themounting member 50 is thereby installed on the twoside frames 100. The twoside frames 100 and the slidingportion 59 of themounting member 50 are on the same plane. - When the
mounting member 50 needs to be detached, theresilient piece 57 is pulled out to deform theresilient portion 571. The stoppingportion 573 disengages from thelatching hole 11. Simultaneously, themounting member 50 is pulled along the second direction to disengage the twolatching portions 533 from the twoinstallation holes 13, and theinserting tab 55 disengages from theinserting hole 31. Themounting member 50 is thus easily detached from the twoside frames 100. - It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and functions of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the present disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
