FIG. 1 illustrates a front perspective view of awater pipe converter 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. Thewater pipe converter 100 can convert a bottle 102 such as a beer bottle 103, a soda bottle 105 or a water bottle 107 into awater pipe 104 that allows a user a convenient way to produce awater pipe 104 from a variety of different bottles 102 that allows a user to convert a variety of bottles 102 into awater pipe 104 without the use of tools. - The
water pipe converter 100 includes adownstem 110, ahose extension 120, a bottle fitting 130, awater level line 140, acurved rubber hose 150, acurved stem 160 and amouthpiece 170. Thedownstem 110 has aproximal end 112 and adistal end 114 with theproximal end 112 extending above the bottle 102 and thedistal end 114 extending downward into the bottle 102 and water 106 contained in thebottle 104. Thehose extension 120 is integral to thecurved rubber hose 150 with acoupling 121 and extends further down into the bottle 102. Thehose extension 120 has adistal end portion 122 that has a plurality ofapertures 124 disposed on thedistal end portion 122. Theapertures 124 assist in making bubbles formed on thedistal end portion 122 relatively smaller as the bubbles are formed from utilizing the formedwater pipe 104. Thebottle fitting 130 is disposed on thebottle orifice 132 of the bottle 102 and provides an air tight seal on thebottle orifice 132. Thebottom fitting 130 also allows thedownstem 110 to extend downward into the bottle 102 through anaperture 134 disposed on thebottle fitting 130. Thewater level line 140 indicates the top of thewater 142 contained in thebottle 104. Thecurved rubber hose 150 is integral to thedownstem 110 andhose extension 120. Thedownstem 110 andhose extension 120 are extended downward through thewater level line 140 into thewater 142 in thebottle 104. Thecurved stem 160 extends above the bottom fitting 130 and curves away from theproximal end 112 of thedownstem 110. Thedownstem 110 protrudes from theother side 158 of thecurved stem 160 exposing thedownstem 110 exteriorly to thecurved stem 160. Thecurved stem 160 is typically made of glass but can be made of other suitable materials as well. Themouthpiece 170 is in direct contact with a user's mouth to draw smoke from thebottle 104. - The water pipe converter allows the user to adapt their beer, soda or water bottle into a shisha. The water pipe converter has a curved rubber hose that is positioned at a right angle where it extends downward in the bottle and is connected to a 1.5 inch glass stem to alter the bottle. The end result is an interchangeable topper that can be used with a variety of bottles, increasing its versatility. A water pipe converter seals in the air for a cleaner smoking experience. Among the users who will find the water pipe converter useful are owners of smoking shops and head shops.
