A sanitary toilet seat comprising a frame, a pad of paper sheets removably mounted upon said frame each of said sheets being provided with an inwardly extending tongue at the end portion of the seat, said tongues projecting downwardly to protect the inner edge of said frame, and an anchor member secured to the under portion of said frame for engaging and holding the free ends of the tongues in their downwardly extending position.
5. A sanitary toilet seat comprising a frame, a pad of paper sheets removably mounted upon said frame, each of said sheets being provided with inwardly extending tongues at the end portion thereof adapted to be bent downwardly to protect the adjacent edge of the frame, and a raised bead formed about the periphery of the frame to embrace said pad and maintain it in juxta-position with respect to said frame.
