Abstract
A portfolio with foldable handles comprises a body; a receiving portion in the body; the receiving portion having an opened receiving space; a plurality of spacers being placed into the receiving space; the receiving space being divided into a plurality of sub-spaces; two handles; a fastener unit having one fastener sheet and two fastener plates, the fastener sheet being positioned at an inner side of one handle; one fastener plate being positioned at an inner side of the receiving portion and being at the same side having the first buckle; another fastener plate being fixed to one inner side of another handle. In an open state, the fastener sheet is fixed to the fastener plate at the same side, and in a close state, the fastener sheet is fixed to the fastener plate at another side.
Description
- The present invention relates to portfolios, and particularly to a portfolio with foldable handles which provides some buckling structures and retaining structures so that when the portfolio is opened or closed, the portfolio has a firm structure. The documents therein can be retained with a beautiful outlook.
- Portfolios serve to store documents therein so that the documents can be stored effectively and orderly. In one prior art portfolio, the portfolio has a body, an open receiving space in the body; a slot at one side of the body; an upper cover which is foldable for sealing the receiving space; and a connector for connecting the upper cover to the upper side of the body.
- In the prior art, the receiving space is divided into a plurality of sub-spaces by using a plurality of spacers. The spacers are fixed at two sides. However, in the prior art as the portfolio is at the open state, the cover is arranged disorderly so that it presents an unbeautiful outlook, when the portfolio is at a close state, there is only finite connecting elements being used to combine the cover and the body so that small or tiny objects in the receiving space are easy to fall out.
- Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a portfolio with foldable handles which provides some buckling structures and retaining structures so that when the portfolio is opened or closed, the portfolio has a firm structure. The documents therein can be retained with a beautiful outlook.
- To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a portfolio with foldable handles which comprises a body; a receiving portion in the body; the receiving portion having an opened receiving space; a plurality of spacers being placed into the receiving space; the receiving space being divided into a plurality of sub-spaces; two handles; a fastener unit having one fastener sheet and two fastener plates, the fastener sheet being positioned at an inner side of one handle; one fastener plate being positioned at an inner side of the receiving portion and being at the same side having the first buckle; another fastener plate being fixed to one inner side of another handle. In an open state, the fastener sheet is fixed to the fastener plate at the same side, and in a close state, the fastener sheet is fixed to the fastener plate at another side.
- The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.
-
FIGS. 1 to 3 are schematic perspective views about the portfolio of the present invention. -
FIGS. 4 and 5 are schematic cross sectional views about the uses of the present invention. - each of two lateral sides of the
body 1 has asecond buckle 132. Thefirst buckle 131 can be buckle to a respective one of the twosecond buckle 132. Thus, when thehandle 11 is folded outwards and then downwards, thefirst buckle 131 can be buckled to thesecond buckle 132 so as to fix the handle to thebody 1. - A
buckling unit 112 has abuckling rope 1121 and onebutton 1122. One end of thebuckling rope 1121 is fixed to one side of thehandle 11. Other portion of thebuckling rope 1121 is formed as a ring. Thebutton 1122 is fixed to a lower side of thehole 111 of anotherhandle 11 so that thebuckling rope 1121 can pass through theholes 111 of the twohandles 11 to be fixed to thebutton 1122. Thus the twohandles 11 are retained without opening. - A
fastener unit 113 has onefastener sheet 1131 and twofastener plates 1132. Referring toFIG. 5 , thefastener sheet 1131 is positioned at an inner side of onehandle 11. Onefastener plate 1132 is positioned at an inner side of thereceiving portion 12 and is at the same side having thefirst buckle 131. Anotherfastener plate 1132 is fixed to one inner side of anotherhandle 11. Referring toFIG. 2 , in an open state, thefastener sheet 1131 is fixed to thefastener plate 1132 at the same side. Referring toFIG. 3 , in a close state, thefastener sheet 1131 is fixed to thefastener plate 1132 at another side. - Thus, by above mentioned structure, the
handles 11 can be opened for receiving documents and finding document. Or thehandles 11 are closed for storage and carrying out. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , it illustrates an open state of the portfolio, the two handles are opened. Thefirst buckle 131 is buckled to thesecond buckle 132 and thefastener sheet 1131 is fixed to thefastener plate 1132 at another side. Thebuckling rope 1121 is retained at the folded area of thehandle 11. Referring toFIG. 5 , the close state is illustrated. Thebuckling rope 1121 encloses thebutton 1122. Thefastener sheet 1131 is fixed to thefastener plate 1132 at the same side. Thefirst buckle 131 is unbuckled to thesecond buckle 132. - Referring to
FIG. 6 , one application of the present invention is illustrated. It is illustrated that a plurality ofportfolios 1 of the present invention are received into a drawer. Each portfolio is at an open state so that the user can take the documents easily. Referring toFIG. 7 , another application of the present invention is illustrated. It is illustrated that plurality of portfolios of the present invention are placed into a cartridge, while thefastener sheet 1131 are retained to thefastener plate 1132 at another side so that the documents in the portfolios will not fall out. - The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
