Abstract

This invention relates to a stackable clothes hanger comprising a hanging hook and a shoulder supporting part formed extendedly with inclination to right and left respectively from one end of said hanging hook for upholding the shoulder part of an upper garment, wherein the central part of said shoulder supporting part is formed with a hollow penetrating part as vertical penetration having a dimension that is equal to or larger than the size to have inserted a hanging hook of the same kind of clothes hanger and the inner plane of said shoulder supporting is formed with a receiving space capable of accepting at least a portion of the shoulder supporting part of the same kind of clothes hanger. With the configuration as such, structure for enabling a plurality of the clothes hangers to be stacked one over another is simplified so that productivity thereof might be enhanced and volume reducing effect thereof might be maximum when a plurality of such clothes hangers are stacked.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates generally to a stackable clothes hanger, and more particularly to a stackable clothes hanger having a configuration whereby a plurality of these clothes hangers can be stacked one on top of another so that storage and transportation thereof can be made easy.

BACKGROUND ART

A conventional clothes hanger comprises, as illustrated in FIG. 1, a shoulder supporting part 12 for upholding shoulder part of an upper garment, a neck part 13 that is formed in the middle of said shoulder supporting part 12, and a hanging hook 11 that is attached at center of said neck part 13 and used for hanging clothes.
However, in case where a plurality of above said clothes hangers are to be placed one on top of another for storage, there is no stackable part that can be put and offset one upon another in shoulder supporting part 12, or in neck part 13, or in hanging hook 11, so the total volume is made too big, and storage area for keeping them is to be so large that arrangement of such clothes hangers in good shape and order is impossible. Furthermore, in case of transportation of such clothes hangers, transportation cost thereof increases because of huge bulkiness of volume, which causes another problem of the traditional clothes hanger.
In consideration of problems and drawbacks described as above, a clothes hanger disclosed in Korean Utility Model No. 1994-0005206 as shown in FIG. 2 is suggesting a configuration as follows: a receiving chamber 14 capable of receiving a hanging portion 20 is formed at upper central part of the hanging bar 10, and a rotary portion 21 formed at lower part of the hanging portion 20 is rotational freely in said receiving chamber 14.
In case where a plurality of clothes hangers according to above said invention are to be placed one on top of another, the rotary portion 21 formed at lower part of the hanging portion 20 rotates in said receiving chamber 14 and the hanging portion 20 is made received in receiving chamber 14, so all clothes hangers except clothes hanger on top can be stacked one over another as illustrated in FIG. 3, which may bring advantages that many clothes hangers can be stored easily at small space and transportation thereof may also be easy. However, in order that hanging portion 20 should be received within the receiving chamber 14, a complicated structure is required for the rotary portion 21 formed at lower part of hanging portion 20 to rotate within the receiving chamber 21, and accordingly increased production cost of such a clothes hanger follows as a problem. Furthermore, in case where a plurality of clothes hangers are to be stacked one on top of another, the portion where total volume is actually reduced corresponds only to the height where the hanging portion 20 of clothes hanger is formed and the total volume cannot be reduced any more, so there was a limitation for substantial object of reducing volume to be accomplished.

DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION

Technical Problem

The present invention was contrived to alleviate or solve problems and drawbacks mentioned as above. It is an objective of the present invention therefore to provide a stackable clothes hanger with a simplified configuration for enabling a plurality of the clothes hangers to be stacked one on top of another so that productivity thereof might be enhanced on one hand and volume reducing effect thereof might be made big on the other hand when a plurality of the clothes hangers are stacked.

Technical Solution

In order to achieve the objective described as above, the stackable clothes hanger according to the present invention comprises a hanging hook and a shoulder supporting part formed extendedly with inclination to right and left respectively from one end of said hanging hook for upholding the shoulder part of an upper garment, wherein the central part of said shoulder supporting part is formed with a hollow penetrating part as a vertical penetration whose size is equal to or larger than that capable of having inserted a hanging hook of the same kind of a clothes hanger, and the inner plane of said shoulder supporting part is formed with a receiving space capable of accepting at least a portion of the shoulder supporting part of the same kind of a clothes hanger.
Lower parts at both sides of said shoulder supporting part are preferably formed with upholding bases each of which is formed protrudingly and has an insertion hole, and a trouser hanging bar for keeping trousers or slacks hanged is hingedly inserted into said insertion holes at both sides of said upholding bases.
Both ends of said trouser hanging bar are preferably made bent like a hook, and these bent parts like a hook are inserted into said insertion holes of said upholding bases.

Advantageous Effect

The stackable clothes hanger according to the present invention provides a simplified configuration for enabling a plurality of such clothes hangers to be stacked one over another, so the productivity thereof might be enhanced and production cost thereof might be lowered. Moreover, if a plurality of clothes hangers are to be placed one on top of another, volume reducing effect can be made so big in comparison to the case of conventional clothes hangers that a lot of such clothes hangers can be stored conveniently in a small space as well as they can be transported easily.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Hereinafter, the stackable clothes hanger according to preferable embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to appended drawings.

Referring to FIG. 4, a stackable clothes hanger according to the present invention comprises a hanging hook 1 and a shoulder supporting part 2 formed extendedly with inclination to right and left respectively from one end of said hanging hook 1 for upholding the shoulder part of an upper garment
The central part of said shoulder supporting part 2 is formed with a hollow penetrating part 3 as vertical penetration having a dimension that is equal to or larger than the size to have inserted the hanging hook 1 of the same kind of clothes hanger, and one side of circumference of said hollow penetrating part 3 is formed with a hanging hook 1 extended protrudingly upwards.
Furthermore, the inner plane of said shoulder supporting part 2 is formed with a receiving space 4 along length direction of said inner plane. In this receiving space 4, the upper planes of shoulder supporting part 2 of the same kind of clothes hangers can be received and stacked.
Said hanging hook 1 is used to hang the clothes hanger on a nail or a rack fixedly attached at wall or on a clothes hanging structure. As shown in FIG. 4, it can be formed at one side of circumference of the hollow penetrating part 3 as one body with same material as that of said shoulder supporting part 2, or as illustrated in FIG. 5, it can be formed protrudingly upwards at one side of circumference of said hollow penetrating part 3 as a different material from that of said shoulder supporting part 2.
In use of the stackable clothes hanger having configuration described as above according to the present invention, a plurality of said clothes hangers can be stacked one on top of another by use of the hollow penetrating part 3 formed at central part of the shoulder supporting part 2 and the receiving space 4 formed at lower plane thereof. The stacking process as illustrated in FIG. 6 is as follows: two of said clothes hangers are placed to come nearer each other as one on top of the other, and then hanging hook 1 of the clothes hanger located at lower side is made inserted into the hollow penetrating part 3 of the clothes hanger located at upper side. Therefore, as the hanging hook 1 of the clothes hanger located at lower side is being inserted into the hollow penetrating part 3 of the clothes hanger located at upper side, the upper plane of shoulder supporting part 2 of clothes hanger located at lower side is made inserted into the receiving space 4 formed at lower plane of shoulder supporting part 2 of clothes hanger located at upper side. According to same processes repeated, a plurality of the clothes hangers can be made stacked in a smallest volume as illustrated in FIG. 7. Therefore, a lot of such clothes hangers can be easily stored in a small space because of remarkably reduced total volume as well as transportation thereof is conveniently easy due to total stacked volume of such clothes hangers made remarkably reduced.
FIGS. 8 to 11 are drawings illustrating a stackable clothes hanger according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a perspective view illustrating a stackable clothes hanger according to another embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 9 is a partial-cut open view of FIG. 8; FIG. 10 is an explanatory drawing illustrating a process where stackable clothes hangers according to another embodiment of the present invention are to be stacked; and FIG. 11 is a perspective view illustrating a state when three of the stackable clothes hangers according to another embodiment of the present invention have been stacked.
A stackable clothes hanger according to another embodiment of the present invention as shown in FIG. 8 is differentiated from the clothes hanger of FIG. 4 by the point that a trouser hanging bar 5 is further attached therein for keeping trousers or slacks hanged at lower side of shoulder supporting part 2
Said trouser hanging bar 5 as illustrated in FIG. 9 is hingedly inserted at lower plane of shoulder supporting part 2. At this time, lower parts at both sides of said shoulder supporting part 2 are formed with upholding bases 7 each of which is formed protrudingly and has an insertion hole 6. Both ends of the trouser hanging bar 5 are made bent like a hook, and these bent parts 8 like a hook are inserted respectively into insertion holes 6 of said upholding bases 7.
As a structure for hingedly inserting said trouser hanging bar 5 into the lower plane of shoulder supporting part 2, aforesaid embodiment has described the bent parts 8 like a hook being inserted into insertion holes 6, which is however an explanatory example. It will be apparent that any other structures for hingedly connecting the trouser hanging bar 5 at lower plane of shoulder supporting part 2 should also be possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention and they should be considered therefore to fall within the range and scope of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 10, when a plurality of the stackable clothes hangers according to another embodiment of the present invention which has a configuration described as above are to be stacked, two clothes hangers are placed come closer each other as one on top of the other. With the trouser hanging bar 5 of clothes hanger located relatively at upper side being pushed aside, the hanging hook 1 of clothes hanger located relatively at lower side is inserted into the hollow penetrating part 3 of clothes hanger relatively located at upper side. And then, as the hanging hook 1 located at the lower clothes hanger is made inserted into the hollow penetrating part 3 of clothes hanger located relatively at upper side, the upper plane of shoulder supporting part 2 located at lower clothes hanger is made inserted into the receiving space 4 formed at lower plane of shoulder supporting part 2 of clothes hanger located at upper side. Therefore, as illustrated in FIG. 11, a lot of such clothes hangers can be easily stored in a small space because of remarkably reduced total volume as well as transportation thereof is conveniently easy due to total stacked volume of such clothes hangers made remarkably reduced.
While the present invention has been described herein with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof illustrated as appended drawings, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications, variations and equivalent embodiments or examples can be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Therefore, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications, variations and equivalent embodiments or examples of this invention that come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

The stackable clothes hanger according to the present invention provides a simplified configuration for enabling a plurality of such clothes hangers to be stacked one over another, so the productivity thereof might be enhanced and production cost thereof might be lowered. Moreover, if a plurality of clothes hangers are to be placed one on top of another, volume reducing effect thereof can be made so big in comparison to the case of conventional clothes hangers that a lot of such clothes hangers can be stored conveniently in a small space as well as they can be transported easily.

Claims

1. A stackable clothes hanger comprising:

a hanging hook; and

a shoulder supporting part formed extendedly with inclination to right and left respectively from one end of said hanging hook, for upholding the shoulder part of an upper garment,

wherein the central part of said shoulder supporting part is formed with a hollow penetrating part as a vertical penetration whose size is equal to or larger than that which can have inserted a hanging hook of the same kind of a clothes hanger, and the inner plane of said shoulder supporting part is formed with a receiving space capable of accepting at least a portion of the shoulder supporting part of the same kind of a clothes hanger.

The stackable clothes hanger according to claim 1, wherein lower parts at both sides of said shoulder supporting part are formed with upholding bases each of which is formed protrudingly and has an insertion hole, and a trouser hanging bar for keeping trousers or slacks hanged is hingedly inserted into said insertion holes at both sides of said upholding bases.

3. The stackable clothes hanger according to claim 2, wherein said trouser hanging bar is made bent like a hook at both ends thereof, and these bent parts like a hook are inserted into said insertion holes of the upholding bases.
