Abstract
An earphone holder is disclosed. The earphone holder includes a holder body, a holder cover, and a housing. The holder cover is pivotably connected to the holder body. The housing includes a twin-barrel connected to a plate which is rotatably positioned in the holder body, and forms a cavity in each barrel and cutouts defined in walls of the twin-barrel. The earphone holder is used to receive an earphone.
Description
- 1. Technical Field
- The present invention relates to an earphone holder.
- 2. General Background
- An earphone holder is used to hold an earphone. A kind of earphone holder is shown in the CN patent No. 02223161.7, issued on Sep. 10, 2003. The earphone holder includes a fitting box and a wire box that are connected with each other. The wire box includes a wire winding structure therein. The fitting box receives earplugs of the earphone. The wire box receives wires of the earphone. The wires are wound around the wire winding structure. The earphone holder is used inconveniently because the fitting box and the wire box are independent of each other.
- Therefore, what is needed is a earphone holder that allows convenient use.
- An earphone holder is disclosed. The earphone holder includes a holder body, a holder cover, and a housing. The holder cover is pivotably connected to the holder body. The housing includes a twin-barrel connected to a plate which is rotatably positioned in the holder body, and forms a cavity in each barrel and cutouts defined in walls of the twin-barrel.
- Further features and advantages will be provided or will become apparent in the course of the following detailed description.

FIG. 1 is a schematic, isometric view of an earphone holder according to a first embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the earphone holder ofFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is a schematic, isometric view of the earphone holder opened ofFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 4 is a section view of the earphone holder ofFIG. 1 ; and -
FIG. 5 is a schematic, isometric view of the earphone holder inverted ofFIG. 1 . - Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , an earphone holder 60 is disclosed. The earphone holder 60 includes aholder body 20 and aholder cover 10. Theholder cover 10 and the body are pivotally connected together with ahinge 30. At least onefirst knuckle 33 of thehinge 30 is formed on thecover 10, and at least onesecond knuckle 32 of thehinge 30 is formed on thebody 20. In the preferred embodiment, twofirst knuckles 33 are formed on thecover 10. A hollow cylinder is defined in each of the 32, 33 to allow aknuckles shaft pin 31 to hold the 32, 33 together, thus forming theknuckles hinge 30. - Referring to
FIGS. 2 and 3 , theholder body 20 includes ahousing 40. Thehousing 40 includes aplate 49 connected to two 43, 44 adjacent to each other and located in the middle of thecylindrical barrels plate 49. Each of the 43, 44 defines acylindrical barrels 61, 62 respectively. Thehollow cavity cylindrical barrel 43 defines 45, 47 in a wall thereof. Thecutouts cylindrical barrel 44 defines 46, 48 in a wall thereof. Thecutouts 47, 48 face each other.cutouts - Referring to
FIG. 2 , theholder body 20 further includes arotatable plate 50. Therotatable plate 50 includes amain shaft 51, twoadjacent shafts 53, and twosupport rings 56 protruding from a top side of therotatable plate 50. Theholder body 20 defines anopening 21 at a base of theholder body 20. Referring toFIG. 4 , theplate 49 defines amain support hole 55 and two 54, 55. Theadjacent support holes main shaft 51 and theadjacent shafts 53 respectively pass through themain support hole 55 and theadjacent support holes 54 so as to allow therotatable plate 50 to be rotatably attached to theholder body 20. Themain shaft 51 and theadjacent shafts 53 then are fixed with theplate 49 by welding. Thesupport rings 56 contact theholder body 20 so as to minimize the vibrations when therotatable plate 50 is rotated. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , therotatable plate 50 defines at least onedepressions 52 in a bottom side. Thedepressions 52 are used to assists in the pushing/pulling (with a tip of the finger) of the rotatable plate, thus rotating thehousing 40. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , theholder cover 10 defines anopening 12. Anetted screen 11 is affixed to theholder cover 10 in theopening 12. Consequently, the earphone in the earphone holder 60 is visible under themesh enclosure 11, and a total/final heaviness of the earphone holder 60 is reduced due to themesh enclosure 11 instead of a solid section of theholder cover 10. - When the user needs to insert an earphone into the earphone holder 60, he/she places earplugs of the earphone in the
cylindrical barrels 43 correspondingly, 44, passes each wire of the earphone through the 45, 46, rotates thecutouts housing 40 thereby winding the wires around thehousing 40. - Moreover, it is to be understood that the invention may be embodied in other forms without departing from the spirit thereof. Thus, the present examples and embodiments are to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and the invention is not to be limited to the details given herein.
Claims (5)
1. An earphone holder comprising:
a holder body;
a holder cover pivotably connected to the holder body;
a housing comprising a twin-barrel connected to a plate which is rotatably positioned in the holder body, forming a cavity in each barrel and cutouts defined in walls of the twin-barrel.
2. The earphone holder of claim 1 , further comprising a rotatable plate mounted beneath the holder body, wherein the rotatable plate is fixed with the housing.
3. The earphone holder of claim 2 , wherein the rotatable plate defines at least one depression therein.
4. The earphone holder of claim 2 , wherein the rotatable plate comprises at least one support ring contacted with the holder body.
5. The earphone holder of claim 1 , wherein the holder cover comprises a netted screen therein.
