  • (b) Description of the Prior Art
  • Various types of electronic toys are generally available in the market thanks to the getting hotter of competition in the current market of electronic toys. To attract more consumer groups, certain electronic toys will be introduced into the market to satisfy consumer needs on a particular festival or occasion. For example, programs for playing the Easter egg are easily associated with Easter in the western world. Therefore, it is no surprising to see toy Easter eggs flooding in the market. However, the Easter egg of the prior art features only a single function, complicated in construction, and not interesting enough to catch the attention from the consumer in satisfying the quest for fun by consumer groups today. Meanwhile, the toy Easter egg of the prior art is losing its edges of market competition.

The cycle can be pre-programmed to add more fun and realize the consumer needs. The present invention is simple in construction yet providing great utility.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is a schematic view of the present invention as assembled.
  • FIG. 3 is an exploded view showing a local part of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing an assembly of the local part taken from FIG. 3 incorporated with a top casing.
  • FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing the present invention with its top casing opened up.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 through 5, a toy Easter egg (10) includes a top casing (10) and a lower case (20) dynamically connected to the top casing (10). An ejection arm (11) projects out of the top casing (10) and a sliding channel (111) is disposed on the ejection arm (11). A base (12) with two pivoting holes is provided to the top casing (10) at where on one side of the ejection arm (11); a pivot (27) corresponding to the base (12) is disposed to the top of the lower casing (20); and a locking pin (26) inserted through the base (12) and the pivot (27) to achieve dynamic connection between the top casing (10) and the lower casing (20).
  • The lower casing (20) is comprised of two halves and contains a gearbox (21) and a PCB (24) as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 5. The gearbox (21) includes a front cover (211), a rear cover (212), and a motor (213) enclosed between both covers, and a gear set (214) driven by the motor (213).
  • A dancer (22) mounted on one side of the front cover (211) includes a holder (221), a connection rod (222) pivoted to the holder (221), and a locking member (223). A hoop (25) is inserted to where above the dancer (22) to secure pile in position. An eyelet (224) and a through hole (225) for the purpose of sewing pile are disposed to the connection rod (222). The through hole (225) operates in conjunction with a revolving member (226) and passes through the front cover (211) to connect the gear set (214) to facilitate the gear set (214) in controlling the rising, retracting, and swinging of the dancer (22).
  • A mobile lever (215) in conjunction with the sliding channel (111) on the ejection arm (11) from the top casing (10) is disposed to the rear cover (212). When the toy Easter egg of the present invention is in dead status, the lever (215) is located at the utmost top of the sliding channel (111); and once the toy Easter egg starts to function, the lever (215) slides on the sliding channel (111) as pre-programmed to push and open up the top casing (10). An eccentric (216) driven by the gear set (214) is disposed to the rear cover (212). A locking block (217) is provided on the eccentric (216); a sliding board (23) is inserted to the eccentric (216); and a reset switch (231), an ejection switch (232), and a dancer switch (233) operating in conjunction with the locking block (217) are disposed on the sliding board (23). The lower casing (20) further contains a speaker (24) to function as a sound box.
  • Also referring to FIG. 5, when the toy Easter egg is idled, the locking block (217) on the eccentric (216) is located within the reset switch (231) on the sliding board (23) and both of the top casing (10) and the lower casing (20) are in their closed status. Upon deciding to play with the toy East egg, the user firsts starts the motor (213) in the gearbox (21) to engage in positive revolution to drive the gear set (214). The gear set (214) in turn drives the eccentric (216) to revolve. When the locking block (217) of the eccentric (216) slides into the ejection switch (232), the lever (215) creates displacement on the sliding channel (111) of the ejection arm (11) from the top casing thus to slightly push up the top casing (10). Once the motor (213) starts to engage in transient revolution inversely, the locking block (217) of the eccentric (216) returns to the reset switch (231) due to the force of the central gravity from the gearbox (21) to complete a cycle of opening and closing by the top casing (10) and the lower casing (20).
  • If the locking block (217) of the eccentric (216) slides into the dancer switch (233) when the motor (213) runs in positive orientation to drive the gear set (214) and the eccentric (216) revolves as driven by the gear set (214), the top casing (10) is fully opened up and the gearbox (21) rises. The motor (213) then inversely revolves to drive the dancer (22) to complete the rising and retraction cycle. After having operated for a certain period, the motor (213) continues to engage in positive revolution as controlled by the program to return the locking block (217) from the dancer switch (233) to the reset switch (231), and the gearbox (21) descends to close the top casing (10) and the lower case (20) once again to complete the swinging cycle for fun. Frequency of the cycle varies depending on how the operation of the motor (213) is programmed. For example, one may set up one or multiple cycles of opening and closing before one or multiple cycles of swinging, or put all the opening, closing, and swinging in a cycle to add more fun to the toy Easter egg (100).
  • The present invention is characterized in the design of opening or closing the toy Easter egg by the joint operation executed by the sliding board (23), the gearbox (21), the eccentric (216), the reset switch (231), the ejection switch (232) and the dancer switch (233) while achieving the swinging cycle of rising and retracting by the dancer (22). The cycle can be pre-programmed to add more fun and realize the consumer needs. The present invention is simple in construction yet providing great utility.
  • The prevent invention provides an improved structure of a universal power adapter containing multiple plugs of different specifications, and the application for a utility patent is duly filed accordingly. However, it is to be noted that the preferred embodiments disclosed in the specification and the accompanying drawings are not limiting the present invention; and that any construction, installation, or characteristics that is same or similar to that of the present invention should fall within the scope of the purposes and claims of the present invention.
