Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to an improved pad structure for female brassiere cups, more particularly to a pad structure featuring a rhythmic massaging effect, a breathable and soft touch feeling to the breasts of a female, and such pad structure can be placed into a brassiere cup without the risk of being broken easily during its production as to reduce the defective rate or detachably dispose the pad structure in a brassiere cup to provide better use as well as easier manufacture.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • To enhance the bust line, show the figure, or support female breasts, a conventional brassiere usually comes with a pad at the lower edge of the lining of a brassiere cup, and a foam pad was generally adopted at early stage. Since the volume of the foam pad can be compressed and reduced by a pressure and the foam pad has the disadvantages of being deteriorated easily and not durable for its laundry, therefore a silicon gel pad was introduced to replace the foam pad. However, silicon gel is expansive, not easy to manufacture, and not light at all. Therefore, the design of a sack pad is developed in recent years, and the general sack pad is divided into two types: an airbag and a liquid bag. Regardless of the airbag or the liquid bag of the sack pad, a high temperature for the hot-press molding process is needed for the production of brassiere cups. If the airbag or liquid bag is slightly shifted, it will cause a deformation or a leakage of air or water easily. If the airbag or liquid bag is broken, a very high defective rate will result in its manufacture. Of course, if the airbag or liquid bag is sewed into the brassiere cup, the airbag or a liquid bag may be pierced easily and will cause the foregoing leakage of air or liquid, which constitutes the major shortcoming of the prior art.
  • Further, since the prior-art airbag or liquid bag is badly ventilated and designed inside the brassiere cup or at the lower edge of the brassiere cup for supporting female breasts, the pad structure of this sort usually makes a wearer allergic to sweats and uncomfortable and such arrangement is also unsanitary, which constitutes another shortcoming of the prior art.
  • Furthermore, the airbag is very light and lacks the sense of reality, while the liquid bag is very heavy. Therefore, these prior-art pads are not good enough to be used as a pad structure for the brassiere cups and definitely require improvements.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to adopt an elastomer as the basic material, preferably a silicon gel, for the pad structure which comprises a disc body, a plurality of fins being disposed on at least one side of the disc body, and a heat-dissipating gap being kept between the fins, not only reducing the weight and providing better breathing, but also giving good tenacity to the fins, so that when the top of the pad structure is compressed, the body has a rebounding force for sustaining the pressure and further provides an elastic rebounding effect for a rhythmic back and forth movement which provides a massaging effect and a very soft touch feeling.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • To make it easier for our examiner to further understand the technical contents of the present invention, a detail description accompanied with drawings are given as follows:
  • Several embodiments of the present invention are illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 8. However the invention is not intended to be limited to the foregoing embodiments and their related drawings. The present invention is mainly an integral elastomer structure preferably made of a silicon gel with an excellent soft-touch texture, and the pad structure in accordance with the present invention is described as follows:
  • Please refer to FIG. 1 for the first preferred embodiment of the present invention, which comprises: a disc body 11, and the disc body 11 could be in any appropriate shape and this embodiment adopts an elliptic shape for the disc body; a plurality of fins 12 being disposed on a side of the body 11, and a gap with an appropriate width being reserved between the fins 12, and the fins 12 have a specified tenacity, such that when its top is compressed, the fins 12 has a rebounding force for sustaining the pressure and also has an elastic rebounding effect for the rhythmic back and forth movements as to give different rhythmic effects by the forces from different directions. If the directions of the rhythmic movements of the fins 12 are taken into consideration, then the fins 12 is preferably designed at the position parallel to the minor axis of the elliptic body 11.
  • Please refer to FIG. 2 for another preferred embodiment of the present invention, which comprises an elastic body 21, a plurality of fins 22 being disposed on the body 21 and having an appropriate gap 23, but unlike FIG. 1, the positions of the fins 22 are parallel to the major axis of the elliptic body 21, so that the fins 22 can produce different directions for the rhythmic movements due to their installation angles and directions.
  • Please refer to FIG. 3 for a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, which comprises an elastic body 31, and a plurality of fins 32 being disposed on the body 31 and having an appropriate gap 33. However, if longer fins 32 are provided to improve their tenacity, a plurality of connecting ribs 34 should be installed between the fins 32, such that the top view of the intersection of the fins 32 and the connecting ribs 34 shows a grid form.
  • Please refer to FIG. 4. The fins 42 and the connecting ribs 44 disposed on the elastic body 41 are intersected with each other with a specified gradient, so that the gaps 43 have different rhythmic effects due to such gradient.
  • Please refer to FIG. 5. A circular body is formed around the external periphery of the bottom of the elastic body 51, and a plurality of fins 52 is coupled onto the circular body 51, and the fins have a specified gap 53 from each other. Since the fins 52 are built on the circular body 51, therefore a hollow section 54 is defined inside the body 51 to constitute a better heat dissipating depth and provide better breathing effect.
  • Please refer to FIG. 6. A disc body 61 is provided, and a plurality of fins having an appropriate gap 63 from each other is disposed on one side of the body 61, and at least one penetrating hole 64 is disposed at the position of the gap 63 on the body 61 for improving the breathing effect. The shape and quantity of the penetrating holes vary according to the actual needs.
  • Please refer to FIG. 8. A disc body 71 is provided, and a plurality of fins 72 having an appropriate gap 73 from each other is disposed on one side of the body 71. To make the overall structure easier to grip and keep it sanitary, the surface of the pad structure further comprises a wrapping layer 74, which is preferably a tough thin film.
  • Please refer to FIG. 7 for a preferred embodiment as depicted in FIG. 2. For simplicity, the pad structure of the present invention is disposed under the brassiere cup 90 (or directly in the brassiere cup) for supporting female breasts 80. If the weather is hot and the hot air is produced on the wearer's skin, then the hot airflow can be dispersed from the gap 23 between the fins 22 to the outside, and makes it more comfortable for wearing such brassieres.
  • Since the pad structure in accordance with the present invention is specially designed for female brassieres, its application has the following advantages:
      • 1. The present invention relates to an elastomer having a disc body or a circular body and a plurality of fins with a specified gap between each other. Besides having a rebounding force for sustaining the pressure, the fins per se also has a rebounding force for the back-and-forth rhythmic movements. Thus, its use comes with a massaging effect and gives a good soft touch feeling for the wearer's skin.
      • 2. As to the vertical direction, the body could have certain holes; as to the horizontal direction, the fins have certain gaps. Both of these holes and gaps facilitate the dissipation of the hot air, so that the wearers do not get infected or uncomfortable due to the sweats produced on their skin.
      • 3. The material of an elastomer is adopted, and thus the pad structure will not be deformed or broken easily, regardless of its being hot pressed or sewed into the brassiere cup or the brassiere, as to greatly lower the defective rate and makes the pad structure very durable.
      • 4. The fins are located at any position of the body, and can be arranged at any angle as needed for supporting the wearer's breasts and fitting the wearer better for its application.
  • With the positive attitude for unceasingly making improvements, the inventor of the present invention conducted extensive research and development and finally invented the pad structure of the present invention with the aforementioned advantages and further complies with the patent application requirements and is submitted to the Patent and Trademark Office for review and granting of the commensurate patent rights.
