Abstract

This invention is innovative and economical. It is a phenomenal new method and mechanism to curl natural and chemically treated hairs of individuals' heads. I came across the idea by going to local beauty supply stores and beauty supply sections of variety stores. I knew exactly what one and all required but could not find it. Two things this product does: styles hairs in a heatless way and protects hairs from damage that could occur from styling hairs in a heatless way. I knew that a soft, satin material enclosing a sponge, foam, wire and hard plastic hair roller accommodates our hairs need. With this invention, your hairs have the full protection, coverage and added extra care that persons are looking for in today's sophisticated world. One of the oldest tools in the hair care industry—appropriately updated, modernized and revitalized. Now is the time to realize that having and keeping a healthy head of hairs is attainable.

Description

This is a new method and mechanism made of sponge, foam, wire and hard plastic encased in satin or quality like material—the Ouch-less Hair Roller/Signature Soft Satin Hair Roller. It comes in a small, medium, large, extra-large and double extra-large size; two sizes larger for longer haired persons. My invention involves making an ouch-less hair roller. The ouch-less characteristics routinely provides premium care, optimal protection and full coverage while curling individuals' hairs damage-less. This new device meets the demands of today's sophisticated consumer in search of quality home and salon hair care. The satin (or quality material resembling satin) provides a protective barrier for the hairs benefiting its user. The benefits include: providing an updated version to style hairs economically while protecting the hairs from over-drying and breakage. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who choose or need to use hair rollers instead of heat to maintain a style for their hairs. Also, it provides extra care for hairs when dry setting hairs heatless or wet setting hairs with heat. Today, people's hairs demand complete coverage and care from the styling products of today's rough environment.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The hairs of many individuals are prone to damage by bare sponge, plastic, wire and foam hair rollers with routine use. Small sheets of tissue paper called paper end wraps are currently used to protect from damage. Unfortunately, it only protects the ends of the hairs and is time consuming when applying. Extensive coverage against damage is not provided to the individuals' hairs. Knowing and witnessing this through others and self experience compels me to develop the new hair roller.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The general idea of Kamilah A. Rashied's invention is to maintain healthy hairs by economically changing one of the oldest tools in the hair care product industry.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The manufacturing of this device is as follows: make an encasing of satin or quality satin like material which covers the various sizes of the cylindrical sponge, foam, wire and hard plastic hair roller material. The satin roller case is approximately 1.5 inches in length. The encasing is cylindrically shaped and sewn in a manner so the material used to wrap around the hairs fits inside. Once the hair roller material is inside its encasing, the open end is sewn closed. Openings on both ends of the satin cover allow the thin, plastic rod-shaped arm of the hair roller frame to enter through. There is little slack of satin. The sponge, foam, wire and hard plastic material's inner portion is hollowed longitudinal and central. Just enough material is hollowed to allow the plastic, thin rod shaped arm about 1¾ inches long and about ¼ inches in diameter to slide inside the foam and sponge structure. On both ends of the plastic arm are bulges to snap the satin roller frame in place. One bulge serves as the hinge point, the other, the securing point.
The frame consists of the thin, plastic rod shaped arm and the lever. The frame of these Ouch-less/Signature Soft Satin Hair Rollers secures the roller in place and has a satin (or similar quality material), scrunched encasing. The lever is rectangular, plastic and larger than the sized encased foam and sponge material. The lever's easy range of motion moves 180 degrees upward and downward. This attaches to the hinge point of the plastic, thin rod shaped arm. The lever also attaches to the securing point holding the hair roller in its desired position. This secures the hair rolling device in place once the individual encircles the hairs around the cylindrical, satin (or synonym material) covered structured.
After the hair roller is secured into hairs of the head, you are then using the Ouch-less Hair Roller/Signature Soft Satin Hair Roller. It withstands continual usage over a long-term period (years). Delicate machine or hand washing in sanitized water is recommended for hygiene purposes. Manufacturing of a storage sac made of the same material but not perforated closes via the durable, draw string method. This comes in one size and used when washing and storing the hair rollers. This preserves quality and maintains organization of the Ouch-less Hair Roller/Signature Soft Satin Hair Roller.

This device retains moisture when dry or wet styling natural or chemically treated hairs. This benefits the individual who like others and I are in dire need of an economical and freshly modernized hair rolling method and mechanism. My invention is made available to people of all economic statute.

The Ouch-less Hair Rollers/Signature Soft Satin Hair Rollers' encasing material come in colors black, blue, brown, yellow, pink, red, orange and numerous other colorful shades. The encasing material also comes in numerous printed patterns; red, green, blue plaid (checkered), madras, paisley and fruit print.
Certain hair types are sensitive to bare materials such as foam, sponge, wire and hard plastic. My invention protects those particular hair types from damage and revolutionizes the dry and wet curling method and mechanism for all hair types. Developing and keeping healthy hairs are attributes to this device.
