Abstract
A manufactured implement used in conjection and conforms with the toilet bowl. It's purpose is to prevent odious oders from wasping into adjoining surroundings. The vacuum created by a vent pipe, connected to the Ring, aspirates the odious smell immediately from the toilet bowl as it is in use.
Description
- The purpose of this ring (View #1) is to provide a mean to aspirate the odious odors from the toilet bowl when in use, to avoid permeation of the odious odors into the joining rooms.
- The manufactured ring (View $1) is an assembly consisting of two parts. the base ring and the lid ring. The purpose of the two parts assembly is for hygiene reasons. The choice of materials, be it steel or plastic are adequate in the manufacturing. The design of the base ring consist of a flat surface and an integral anchor plate extending from rear periphery of the base ring to secure the ring assembly (View #3) to the toilet bowl. (View #2 and #3) Also extending from the ring assembly (View #3) distanced to clear the toilet bowl is a connecting extension View #4) to the aspirator (View #2). The location of the connecting extention is optional. It can be manufactured to suit the requirements of the installation. The aspirator is a vent pipe or tube connected to the base ring connector (
Views # 2 and 4). The vent pipe of a continuous diametrical size is vertically extended through the roof. The natural law of the kinetic updraft of the vent pipe aspirates the odious odors from the toilet bowl before it permeates to the joining rooms when the toilet is occupied. - Assembly.
- The ring assembly (View #3) conforms to the oval shape of the bowl and secured to the toilet bowl with two screws through the holes in the anchor plate (View #3) to the toilet bowl and so will the toilet seat and the seat cover. The ring assembly View #3) rests on the surface. of the toilet bowl rim and is secured to the toilet bowl (View #2) with screws
- A spacing (View #2) between the toilet seat and the ring assembly must be maintained to allow a continuous flow of air into the bowl to replace the aspirated odious air from the bowl as the toilet is occupied. Spacers (View #2) maintain this spacing.
- Construction.
- In
View # 3 the rim assembly (View # 1) illustrates two exploded projected cross-sections (Views # 4 and 5) of the ring assembbled to the toilet bowl for visual references. The (View #2) discribes the complete assemblage of the ring (Views #1 2 and 3) to the toilet bowl, The base ring surface is flat and contoured to the shape of the toilet rim periphery and also provide for the integral portion (View #4) of the connecting extrusion for the assembling to the vent pipe. To the outside periphery of this ring is a fabricated side wall forming a box. The coaxial hole in the base ring is larger is larger than the inside periphery of the bowl rim. (Views # 4 and 5). - The box like ring cover slides freely over the base ring. The coaxial hole in the lid coyer must conform to the shape of the toilet bowl inside rim and be smaller than the hole in the toilet seat cover.
- This ASPIRATION RING will alleviate the then uncontrollable moments of odious odors in the restroom when the toilet is occupied. The private homes, hospitals or any public buildings with restrooms the Aspiration Ring should be a welcome solution to these embarrassing moments.
Claims (3)
1. Aspirator Ring. It provides a mean to eliminate odious odors from the toilet bowl by being aspirated up a vent pipe (View #2-7) by the Natural Law of up draft created in the vent pipe.
2. Spacing. The purpose of the spacing (View #2-12) between the toilet seat and the top surface of the Aspirator Ring assembly is to allow a continuity of air flow into the toilet bowl as the aspiration phenomenum is in effect. The spacers maintain the desired spacing.
3. Connector. Pipe. (Port). (View #46) connested to the vent pipe (View #2-8) For accommodation the connector pipe can be manufactured to suite the situation. To the right or left of the bowl and must be on the outside periphery of the toilet bowl. (View #2-16).
