Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to a protective cover, particularly to one able to cover and protect a person's ears, scruff and neck sides from contacting with hair dye and causing skin disease in the process of hair dyeing.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Hair dyeing has become very popular nowadays either for concealing gray hair or for pursuing fashion. However, the chemical agent of hair dye may cause measles, itch, red skin or even blister to a person who has sensitive skin, such as a person of special constitution, a pregnant woman, a woman in monthly period or a woman after parturition. Therefore, it is of great importance to prevent a person's skin from contacting with hair dye. For the present, only a cape is used for protection in carrying out hair dyeing, but such a cape can only protect the parts beneath a person's shoulders, unable to protect a person's ears or scruff which is liable to contact with hair dye.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The objective of the invention is to offer an ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing, able to cover and protect a person's ears, scruff and neck sides so as to prevent these parts from contacting with hair dye and causing skin disease in a process of hair dyeing. The ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention includes two ear covering portions and a neck covering portion. The two ear covering portions are respectively connected with the upper left and right corner of the neck covering portion for respectively and stably covering a person's left and right ear, while the neck covering portion is covered on a person's scruff and neck sides for protection.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is a front view of a first preferred embodiment of an ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention:
  • FIG. 2 is a side cross-sectional view of the first preferred embodiment of the ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in a used condition in the present invention:
  • FIG. 3 is a front view of the first preferred embodiment of the ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in a used condition in the present invention:
  • FIG. 4 is a rear view of the first preferred embodiment of the ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in a used condition in the present invention:
  • FIG. 5 is a front view of a second preferred embodiment of an ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention:
  • FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the second preferred embodiment of the ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in a used condition in the present invention: and
  • FIG. 7 is a front view of a third preferred embodiment of an ear and scruff protective cover used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • A first preferred embodiment of an ear and scruff protective cover 10 used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, includes two ear covering portions 11 and a neck covering portion 12 combined together.
  • The two ear covering portions 11 are respectively formed with an ear-shaped ear hanger 111 having its outer side firmly adhered with a thin covering member 112.
  • The neck covering portion 12 is somewhat like a rectangular thin sheet having its upper left and right corner respectively formed integral with the covering members 112 of the two ear covering portions 11.
  • In using, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, firstly, the left and the right ear hanger 111 of the two ear covering portions 11 of the protective cover 10 are respectively hung and covered on a person's left and right ear 20, letting the two covering members 112 of the two ear covering portions 11 exactly cover up the outer sides of the ears 20. Next, the neck-covering portion 12 of the protective cover 10 is adjustably covered and positioned on a person's scruff 30 and neck sides 40. In case the person's hair is too long and covers up a person's scruff 30 and neck sides 40, the exceeding part of the hair has to be adjusted to position on the outer side of the neck covering portion 12 of the protective cover 10. Thus, the person's ears 20, scruff 30 and neck sides 40 can be completely covered and protected by the protective cover 10, able to prevent them from contacting with hair dye and causing skin disease in the process of hair dyeing.
  • A second preferred embodiment of an ear and scruff protective cover 10 used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, includes two ear covering portions 11 and a neck covering portion 12. The two ear covering portions 11 are the same as those described in the first preferred embodiment. The neck covering portion 12 has its lower left and right side respectively extending outward horizontally and forming a connect member 121 having its outer end provided with a Velcro band 122. The two connect members 121 can be pulled to the front side of a person's neck to be connected with each other by the Velcro bands 122, able to position the protective cover 10 comparatively stably.
  • A third preferred embodiment of an ear and scruff protective cover 10 used in the process of hair dyeing in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 7, includes two ear covering portions 111 and a neck covering portion 12. The two ear covering portions 11 are flexible covers able to be respectively and flexibly covered on a person's left and right ear 20 for protection.
  • Apart from being connected by adhesion, the ear hangers 111 and the covering members 112 of the protective cover 10 can be movably connected with each other by releasable fasteners or by high frequency soldering. In addition, the neck covering portion 12 and the covering members 112 of the ear covering portions 11 can be made of plastic, paper, non-woven fabric or fiber.
  • While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
