Abstract
A lighter case includes a board having two front side walls extending from two sides thereof and a support plate extends from a lower end of the board and is connected between the two front side walls. A lighter is positioned between the two front side walls. A tongue extends backward from a top end of the board so as to be inserted in the cigarette pack. Two clamp plates extend backward from two sides of the board such that the cigarette pack is clamped between the two clamp plates.
Description
- The present invention relates to a lighter case to receive a lighter therein and a tongue extends from a top of the board so as to be connected to the cigarette pack.
- A smoker usually knows which pocket is the cigarette put and does not sure where the lighter is put. Therefore, after the smoker picks a cigarette from the pack, he or she usually searches all the packets and finds the lighter in the last one packet. It takes a lot of time to get the lighter and the period of time is too long for the smoker who wants to burn the tobacco of the cigarette. People could forget to bring the lighters with them, or the lighter could be left in the clothes during changing clothes. Until now, there is no proper device for carrying the lighter with the cigarettes.
- The present invention intends to provide a lighter case which is engaged with the cigarette pack so that the smoker can have his or her lighter whenever he or she wants to smoke.
- The present invention relates to a lighter case which is connected to a side of a cigarette pack and comprises a board having two front side walls extending from two sides thereof and a support plate extends from a lower end of the board and is located between the two front side walls. A tongue extends backward from a top end of the board. Two clamp plates extend backward from two sides of the board so as to clamp the cigarette pack.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show the lighter case of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show the back of the lighter case of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view to show the lighter case connected to a side of a cigarette pack; -
FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view to show that the lighter case connected to a side of a cigarette pack; -
FIG. 5 is a top cross sectional view to show that the cigarette pack is clamped by the two clamp plates of the lighter case; -
FIG. 6 shows that a flexible band is connected to the lighter case to hold a soft cigarette pack, and -
FIG. 7 shows the other embodiment of the clamp plates and the second ridges of lighter case of the present invention. - Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, the
lighter case 1 of the present invention comprises aboard 11 having twofront side walls 15 extending from two sides thereof and asupport plate 16 extends from a lower end of theboard 11 and is located between the twofront side walls 15. Each of thefront side walls 15 has afirst ridge 152 extending from an inside thereof. Further referring toFIG. 4 , a lighter 2 is rested on thesupport plate 16 and restricted by thefirst ridges 152 of the twofront side walls 15. Atongue 12 extends backward from an inclined top end of theboard 11 such that thetongue 12 is inserted between the outer hard case and the inner pack as shown inFIG. 3 . Twoclamp plates 13 extend backward from two sides of theboard 11 and each of theclamp plates 13 has asecond ridge 132 extending from an inside thereof. Aconnection plate 14 extends from a lower end of theboard 11 and is connected between the twoclamp plates 13. Referring toFIG. 5 , the cigarette pack is clamped between the twoclamp plates 13 and rested on theconnection plate 14. Therefore, thelighter 2 is held by thelighter case 1 and thelighter case 1 is connected to the cigarette pack so that the user is convenient to access the lighter 2 and the cigarette pack simultaneously. -
FIG. 7 shows an embodiment of the clamp plates 13 a and thesecond ridges 132 a, wherein the clamp plates 13 a have the same length of theboard 11 and thesecond ridges 132 a have the same length of the clamp plates 13 a. -
FIG. 6 shows aflexible band 154 has two ends thereof respectively connected to twoholes 153 defined through the twofront side walls 15 and theflexible band 154 attaches the cigarette pack with a soft pack to thelighter case 1. - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
