Abstract
It is my intention to locate the companies that manufacture the materials that are appropriate for the utility invention. It is my hope that a company that manufactures clothing will see the value and importance of adding this innovative line of apparel to their inventory. I would follow their suggestions as to lightness of weight of materials and those that would be best suited for inexpensive manufacturing. The drawings of this Sleep-Ease night-ware are so simple and self-explanatory that any ideas that might be selected could easily be reproduced using the light weight protective material. Eventhough there is protective apparel for astromauts, the medical profession, and utility workers; this clothing and garments of protection are not available to the general public. I think there is an urgent need for this type of protection to be available for anyone.
Description
- I am applying for a non-provisional utility patent with small entity status for “Protective ‘Sleep-Ease’ apparel” made with material that is highly resistant to electricity, electro-magnetic rays and lazer.
- The purpose of “Protective Sleep-Ease’ Apparel” is to provide a means of protection for those who live in close proximity to electric utility stations or high power wires, those who live close to the ever increasing number of high power radar towers and for the population that lives in over-crowded conditions in the cities.
- Because of the reading I have done and my own personal experience in the last 20 years, I believe that many of the illnesses and medical conditions such as osteoporosis, fibromyalgia and especially those with no known cause such as lupus, may be the results of out-side forces against our bodies and not originating from within. These forces may also be contributing factors to illness, pain and sleeplessness. It was for this reason that I began to think about what might offer some protection from the outside forces of life as it is today.
- The object of this utility invention is to provide a night-time apparel that is unique because it is made with materials such as those used in astronauts' uniforms and x-ray aprons. The purpose of the apparel is to offer some protection against outside forces of electricity, electro-magnetic rays and radar lazer. The materials must be light-weight. The items must be manufactured as inexpensively as possible so that the apparel will be affordable to the average consumer.
- This utility invention is also unique in that it is to be available to, and intended for anyone who because of sleeplessness, pain or impending illness believes they need this protection along with their doctors advice which is the primary recommendation at the first indication of a problem.
- The designs in the drawings may appear to be balky and clumsy, even archaic, however modifications and simplifications can easily be achieved at a later time with any company that manufactures this “Protective ‘Sleep-Ease’ Apparel”.
-
FIG. 1 shows a light-weight cap with an over-sized bill that protects the head and face but with no eye guard because of the danger of suffocation. It fastens with plastic straps under the chin. -
FIG. 2 is a type of space helmet for a child with the eye guard attached to one side and fastened on the other side with Velcro. -
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 are a side and front view of a helmet type for adults with a removable eye wrap that fastens with Velcro. This can be worn over or under the chin. -
FIG. 5 is a soft bonnet type head gear with a scarf attachment that ties in front. The eye guard is removable and the bill is added protection for the face. -
FIG. 6 Arm and Wrist Guard similar to one now available for Carpel Tunnel with these important differences: -
- a. The quard is made of the protective materal.
- b. There are no metal stays.
- c. The closure overlaps at least two inches.
- d. The fingers are covered and extends to the elbow.
-
FIG. 7A Front and Back Apron with a neck opening for the head and ties on each side. The apron could protect the lungs, upper abdomen, lower abdomen, back and spine. -
FIG. 8 Eye Wrap Protector with vision slits that is 28 inches long and 5 inches wide fastening in the back with velcro. This will also give protection to the ears. -
FIG. 9A Neck Wrap Protector that is 28 inches long and 5 inches wide and fastens with velcro. This wrap has multiple uses as a shield around the ankle, foot, knee or wherever the pain or discomfort exists. - This “Protection ‘Sleep-Ease’ Apparel” made of material similar to that used in astranauts uniforms is for the purpose of offering protection against electromagnetic rays, electricity, and radar lazer. The drawings show different examples of protective apparel for the head, neck, wrist and body.
- This non-provisional utility patent application is meant to cover not only these nine items of drawings, but also any future apparel constructed of resistent materials for the purpose of protection from outside forces for any other specific parts of the body.
Claims (1)
1. What I claim for my invention of “Protective ‘Sleep-Ease’ Apparel” made of materials resistent to outside forces of electricity, electro-magnetic rays and lazer is that the use of these items will:
1. alleviate pain in muscles, bone or total body.
2. offer a degree of protection from long term harm for all parts of the body covered by the apparel.
Since I have no medical background, I do not claim that this invention will prevent an illness or medical condition.
In fact, I would require a written agreement with the manufacturer stating that I am not liable for any illness or medical condition should such occur in spite of the use of “Protective ‘Sleep-Ease’ Apparel.
This application contains no claims to cure a pre-existing condition. It should be noted that if damage has already occurred, such as the back, this apparel will not alleviate such pain, but will only protect from further injury. It is not a cure. “Protective ‘Sleep-Ease’ Apparel”, as it's name implies, is to be used only as a protective device.
