Abstract

A shower or bathtub cleaning device having two casual outdoor sandals thongs, one left and one right, with a rough or soft scrubbing pad affixed to the bottom surface of the sandals. The sandals worn on a person's feet, will allow the cleaning to be done with out stooping or bending. The device can be used in the cleaning of the shower floor, bathtub, and small bathroom or kitchen floors. The movement action will also serve as a way to exercise the lower extremities of the body while cleaning. The entire cleaning process can be completed without the use of hands.

  • The invention consists of two casual outdoor sandals (thongs) with one of two different type-scouring pads (soft or rough) affixed on the bottom surface. Worn while showering or after bath to clean the shower stall or bathtub floor. A person can also use the invention to clean hard to clean areas, spills of a small bathroom or kitchen floor. [0001]

  • DESCRIPTION BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • This invention relates to a scum kicker cleaning device for use in a shower or bathtub. The scum kicker allows a person to scrub and clean the shower floor or bathtub after and during each shower or bath without stooping or bending. There are obvious benefits to people who are physically unable to bend, and it also saves a person cleaning time. [0003]
  • PRIOR ART
  • In prior art, an individual needed a sponge or brush, to clean the areas. In order to clean the shower floor or bathtub, one had to get on one's knees or bend and use their hands to clean. People will benefit from the scum kicker device that will allow the cleaning without getting on their knees or bending. This will further benefit individuals with back and knee problems.[0004]
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • A primary object of the invention is to provide a cleaning device that allows individuals to scrub and clean scum from their bathtub, and shower floors without the use of their hands. A secondary object is to provide a cleaning device to clean collected scuffmarks, spills on bathroom or kitchen floors. The third objective will allow a person to exercise while cleaning. The scum kicker device will be available in three sizes medium, large and extra large to accommodate a wider range of individuals. The scum kicker device of this invention satisfies our objectives by having two outdoor type sandals thongs with sponges or scouring pads affixed to bottom surface of sandals. A person using this invention can accomplish a complete cleaning cycle without the use of hands. [0005]

Claims (3)

1. What we claim as our invention is a shower floor, bathtub cleaning device worn on a person's feet. Which will allow the person to clean their shower floor, bathtub, spots and spills on bathroom and kitchen floors, without stooping or bending to accomplish the task
Comprising:
Two, left and right casual outdoor sandal type thongs
Scrubbing pads
A rough or soft scrub pad affixed to the bottom of the sandal thongs
2. The cleaning device of claim 1, wherein:
The soft pad can be used for daily cleaning, such as small bathroom or kitchen floors
3. The cleaning device of claim 1, wherein:
The rough pad will be used for hard to clean floor area of shower or bathtub
