Abstract
The present invention relates to a storage device which allows metalwares to be conveniently accessible by magnetism, including a storage body for storing metalwares, at least two grooves respectively arranged in appropriate locations on the inner sides of the storage body, and a lever arranged in parallel with the storage body and having two ends respectively fitted with the grooves, wherein a front end of the lever is magnetic and close to a bottom on the inner sides of the storage body 10, and a tail end of the lever protrudes from a top surface of the storage body.
Description
- The present invention relates to a storage device which allows metalwares to be conveniently accessible, and more particularly the present invention relates to a storage device which allows metalwares stored therein to be conveniently accessible by a magnetic element.
- It is usual for a mechanic or do-it-yourselfer to assemble mechanical products with metalwares, for example, general-purpose hardware, screws, screw nuts, washer, nails and so forth. Thus far the metalwares are widely used in various mechanical industries and do-it-yourself However, if it is desired to place metalwares in a conventional storage device, it would cause inconvenience of accessing metalwares from conventional storage device and cause accidental injury. Because the metalware is normally small-sized and thus the conventional storage device thereof is not of a great dimension, the mechanic or do-it-yourselfer is difficult to get the required metalwares or is liable to get stabbed while accessing the metalwares from conventional storage device.
- Therefore, how to provide a storage device that can allow the metalwares stored therein to be conveniently accessible to solve the situation in relation to the above problems is highly expected.
- It is an object of the present invention to provide a storage device which allows the metalwares stored therein to be conveniently accessible by magnetism. The storage device according to the present invention uses a magnetic element in combination with a leverage action to allow the metalwares stored therein to be conveniently accessible.
- The foregoing and features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent through the following descriptions with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
- FIG. 1 shows an exploded view of the storage device according to the present invention;
- FIG. 2 shows a side view of the storage device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention; and
- FIG. 3 shows the implementation of the storage device according to the present invention.
- The present invention is made by the provision of a storage device which allows small-sized metalwares to be conveniently accessible. Please refer to FIG. 1, which shows an exploded view of the storage device according to the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, the storage device according to the present invention includes a
storage body 10, two 12, 14 and agrooves lever 20. Thestorage body 10 and thelever 20 are arranged in a crisscross fashion, wherein the interior of thestorage body 10 is hollow for receiving metalware parts. The two sides of thestorage body 10 are level and smooth, and 12,14 are respectively mounted in appropriate locations on the inner sides of thegrooves storage body 10. The two 12,14 are arranged in parallel and opposite to one another. Thegrooves lever 20 is arranged in parallel with thestorage body 10 and has two 26,28 that are respectively fitted with theends 12,14. Thegrooves front end 22 of thelever 20 is magnetic and close to the bottom on the inner side of thestorage body 10, while thetail end 24 of thelever 20 protrudes from the top surface of thestorage body 10. - Turning to FIG. 2, which shows a side view of the storage device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As can be seen, as the
storage body 10 is positioned within the cabinet, thefront end 22 of thelever 20 is located at position A in such a way to be in contact with metalwares and attract the metalwares. Thetail end 24 of thelever 20 protrudes from the top surface of thestorage body 10, and the point on which it is supported is arranged according to the fulcrum of thelever 20. While thestorage body 10 is drawing from the cabinet, thetail end 24 will be in contact with cabinet and is forced downwards, so that thefront end 22 will bring the metalwares attracted thereto to move toward position B by virtue of a leverage action. So far it is to be understood that the substantial effect of thestorage device 10 has been illustrated. - Referring to FIG. 3, which shows the implementation of the storage device according to the present invention. As depicted in FIG. 3, the
cabinet 30 is provided with a number ofstorage devices 10, wherein a number of metalware parts are placed inside each of thestorage devices 10. - To conclude, the present invention is directed to a storage device that allows the metalwares stored therein to be conveniently accessible by magnetism, and in particular to a storage device that provide a convenient way to access the metalwares stored therein by magnetism. It is worthy to note that the storage device of the present invention indeed can attain convenience to a certain degree while accessing metalwares therefrom.
- Although the invention has been described and illustrated in detail, it will be recognized that the invention may be widely varied, and that numerous variations, modifications and other embodiments will readily suggest themselves to those of ordinary skill in the art. Accordingly, it is to be clearly understood that the appended claims are to be broadly interpreted, so as to encompass all other variations, modifications and other embodiments within the spirit and scope of the invention.
