Abstract

A composition of material for manufacturing nicotine free cigarette substitutes.
The composition of material of this invention, maintaining the taste and flavor of cigarette, without tobacco leaf, is composed of including but not limited to leaf powder of Samilax China L and leaf powder of Gomphrena Globosa L.
The cigarette substitute of this invention is manufactured and packed like normal cigarettes, 20 cigarettes per pack. The substitute emits no nicotine and no class A carcinogenic substances when inhaled by a human. The cigarette substitute has good cancer-resistance. It cures the harmful effecrs to a human body due to poison such as heavy metals of mercury, nickel, and cadmium imposed by use of regular cigarettes.
The substitute of this invention helps to quit smoking and eliminates the poisons from the blood of the pre-smokers.

Description

  • The present invention relates to a composition of materials for manufacturing a cigarette substitute which tastes like normal cigarette but contain no class A carcinogenic substances, nicotine and tar. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • 1. Field of Invention [0002]
  • The present invention relates to a composition of materials for manufacturing a cigarette substitute tastes like normal cigarette but contain no class A carcinogenic substances, nicotine and tar, meanwhile having cancer-resisting effect and curing effect of heavy metal poison. [0003]
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art [0004]
  • U.S. Pat. No. 6, 200, 391 to Oshiro teaches to add a compounds containing ascorbic acid, a salt or isomer thereof, a chlorophyll-containing material, and potassium nitrate to obtain a tobacco flavoring agent lowering the tar or nicotine content of tobacco smoke, maintaining a burning portion of tobacco in a stable state, and preserving its powdery state. The tobacco-flavoring agent was deposited on the tips of the cigarettes mixed with shredded tobacco leaves. [0005]
  • U.S. Pat. No. 6, 041,789 to Brankert et. al. demonstrates a non-pyrolytic cigarette substitute device delivering a nicotine-simulating vapor mixture having a cigarette-like taste and aroma to the smoker in response to suction. The device has absorbed a solution of a volatile nicotinomimetic agonist enough to satisfy the physiological needs for nicotine of the smoker, and volatile palatability enhancing agents enough for their released vapors to neutralize any unpleasant taste and aroma of the nicotinomimetic agonist vapors. [0006]
  • U.S. Pat. No. 5,893,371 to Rose and Behm released a non-nicotine method and apparatus to reduce the desire to smoke tobacco utilizing constituents from black and red peppers. Subsequent to inhalation, the constituents from black and red peppers create respiratory tract sensations similar to those created by tobacco smoke and thereby serve to reduce the desire to smoke tobacco. The essential oils of black and red pepper include capsaicin, piperine and phellandrene. [0007]
  • These previous arts add some chemicals to tobacco leaves or utilized a stimulus natural products to simulate the taste and aroma of the tobacco leaves, not solving the cigarette related problems entirely. [0008]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is the object of this invention to provide a composition of a new cigarette substitute having taste and aroma similar to tobacco smoke but contains no nicotine and class A carcinogenic substances. [0009]
  • The composition of material of this invention, maintaining the taste and flavor of cigarette, without tobacco leaf, is composed of including but not limited to shredded leaves of Smilax China L and leaves of Gomphrena Globosa L. The substitute of this invention is manufactured and packed like normal cigarette by conventional cigarette manufacturing process, 20 cigarettes per pack. [0010]
  • The substitute emits no nicotine and no class A carcinogenic substances when inhaled by a human. The cigarette substitute has good cancer-resistance. It cures the harmful effects to a human body due to the poison such as heavy metals of mercury, nickel, and cadmium imposed by use of regular cigarettes. [0011]
  • The substitute of this invention helps to quit smoking and eliminates the poisons from the blood of the smoker. [0012]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The Smilax China L. grows spontaneously and distributed in mountains of South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China and Philippine. Major components known to analyze are Parillin, Smilasin, Diosgenin and various types of Saponin. Human body knows all of these components as non-toxic. [0013]
  • From the 16th Century, Smilax China L. has been used as medicals to treat abscess (Poncho Kangmok; China, 1578, Dongeuy Bogam; Hur Jun, Chosun, 1610). Recently, it is known as curing agent for the harmful effects to a human body due to the poison such as heavy metals of mercury, nickel, and cadmium imposed by use of regular cigarettes (Hankuk Poncho Kangmok; Ahn Duk Kyun, Kyohaksa, 1998). One of the dosing methods was shredder the leaves and inhales the smoke. [0014]
  • The smell of the leaves of Smilax China L. is similar to tobacco leaves but not so much. Small amount of shredder leaves of Gomphrena Globosa L. were mixed with shredder leaves of Smilax China L. A commercial cigarette was emptied and the mixture of the leaves was packed. The taste and aroma was just like real cigarette of commercial. [0015]
  • The best mode to effect the cigarette aroma and taste is a dried mixture of 90 wt % Smilax China L. and 10 wt % of Gomphrena Globosa L. [0016]
