Abstract

The crossbow hard case consists of a hull base compartment and a lid cover that forms a compartment crossbow case when the lid cover is closed in contrast to the hull base. The lid and case are hinged along one edge to allow uniform opening and closing of the lid cover. The crossbow hard case forms the profile shape of a diamond, with the diamond's point blunt. The lid cover has a concaved area from the interior side bulging to the exterior of the lid that encases the sights or scope of the crossbow. The case fastens together by several latches that are hinged to the lid cover, and back catch the top of the hull base compartment to form a secure closed crossbow hard case. The crossbow is secured in position by 3 adjustable buckle straps and one velcro strap. The foot cocking bar rests on a foam padded bench within the hull base compartment, while the stock rests between two removable storage boxes that velcro in and out of place. The crossbow can be fully assembled with a scope, open sights, and quiver with arrows while secured in hard case. The interior side of the lid cover also has foam block holders for extra arrows, while the hull base contains removable storage boxes that store accessories. The hard case has a handle that forms when the lid cover and hull base are closed. The interior surfaces of the plastic hard case is lined with protective foam padding.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • The invention is a hard transportation case for fully assembled crossbow. [0001]
  • Crossbow hunting has become more popular and widespread throughout the world. Technology has developed the most precise and advanced state of the art crossbows ever offered on the market. This type of expensive equipment needs a hard case with impeccable protection offered at a reasonable cost. The crossbow hard case can secure the assembled crossbow in place with minimum movement, and secure all necessary equipment accessories. [0002]
  • Assembled crossbows include all makes and models with quivers and arrows assembled into place. Open sights or scopes can also be mounted on the crossbow. This hard case is a necessity for crossbow hunters and those who shoot crossbows as a recreation. Specific problems may be involved with art of the crossbow hard case. This hard case has a handle that may need repositioned on the case for a specific balance needed to comfortably carry the case. The prior art doesn't illustrate foam padding that will line the interior of the case hull base and the lid cover. The prior art doesn't illustrate the white wool lining of the scope and open sight area in the interior of the lid cover. [0003]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The derived purpose of this hard case is to provide an affordable case with the best protection for all crossbows. [0004]
  • Another purpose is to store all accessories of the crossbow in the hull base storage boxes. [0005]
  • Other purposes include straps that secure the crossbow, and a bench rest that supports the crossbow level. [0006]
  • The crossbow hard case has a lid cover and a hull base that form a diamond shape case when closed together. The lid cover and hull base are hinged along one edge. These hinges allow uniform closing and opening of the case. The tie down straps are secured to the interior surface of the hull base. The crossbow hard case is securely closed with latches. [0007]
  • In the embodiment, the crossbow hard case is made of a hard durable lightweight plastic material. Straps secure the crossbows limbs, stock, and foot cocking bar in position. The crossbow rests level in the case with the foot cocking bar on the bench rest, and the stock is positioned up right between the storage boxes. [0008]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the crossbow hard case with the lid cover open illustrating positioning of the bench rest, storage boxes, arrow holders, and scope and sight slot in lid covers interior surface. [0009]
  • FIG. 2 is a plan view of the crossbow hard case illustrating the dimensions of the case, hull base, foot cocking bench rest, storage boxes, straps, and where the sight and scope concave slot in the lid cover is in relation to the case hull base components. [0010]
  • FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the crossbow hard case illustrating the hinges along the edge of the case. [0011]
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the opposed side from the hinges illustrating the latches, locks, handle, and scope and sight concaved area to the lid covers exterior surface. [0012]
