'I'he invention relates to dispensing devices and particularly to a device for supporting and discharging tooth paste from collapsible tubes, and has for its object to provide a device of this character comprising a chambered supporting holder having a rotatable member therein, around which the bottom end of the tube is wound and compressed by a convexed spring member yieldably engaging the tube, and by rotation of the rotatable member.
A further object is to form the holder cylindrically shaped with its ends open and to provide a slit extending entirely through one side thereof and formed by opposed curved lips adapted 2 to grip and compress opposite sides of the tube and to provide a rotatable key within the cylindrical member and around which the bottom end of the tube is wound for pulling said end of the tube between the lips for a dispensing operation.
A further object is to provide means whereby the device may be supported in various positions on a support thereby allowing the same to be used and attached to the wood work in different positions in a room.
A further object is to provide a tube compressor comprising a supporting holder having a chamber extending entirely through the same and registering compressing lips at one side thereof and between which the tube is drawn and compressed upon rotation of a key within the holder.
A further object is to provide a collapsible tube holder and compressor comprising a supported member having downwardly extending flanges at the ends thereof rearwardly recessed for the reception of the pintles of a rotatable roller and the forward upper side thereof of a downwardly and rearwardly extending compressing spring ange cooperating with the roller for compressing the tube and also forming means for maintaining the roller pintles in the recesses of the downwardly extending anges.
With the above and other objects in view the invention resides in the combination and arrangement of parts as hereinafter setforth,shown in the drawings, described and claimed, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the invention may be made within the scope of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention.

Referring tothe drawings, particularly Figures 1 to 5, the holder comprises a cylindrically shaped member I having a chamber 2 extending entirely therethrough, thereby forming open ends, the purpose of which will presently appear. The member I is provided with nail head receiving apertures 3, preferably in pairs at ninety degrees from each other, thereby allowing the holderto be supported in a horizontal position as shown in Figure 2, or in various vertical positions according to the available wood work in a bathroom or other room in whichthe device is disposed.V
Figure 5 shows inldotted and full lines some of the positions in a vertical plane the device 'may assume. It will be noted that the apertures simply passing the heads 5 of the nails through the enlarged portions of the apertures 3 and moving the member I longitudinally.
One side of the member I is provided with a longitudinally extending opening 6 formed by the curved lips 1 of the body member I, and which curved lips have opposed curves which register witheach other and are adapted to compressibly engage the opposite sides of the tube 8 and collapse the same thereby forcing the contents from the tube through the discharge neck 9 when the tube cap I0 is removed. The member I is formed from spring material, hence the curved lips 1 will yieldably compress the tube.
