This invention relates to an improved loose leaf holder which is convenient in use and is of such construction as to permit it to be readily filed for ready reference when {not in use.

Such a holder is formed with a front and back cover so as to protect the sheets and the front cover is capable of-movement of 360 to engage the back face of the back cover and permit the binder to be laid fiat on a flat surface to facilitate writing. In accordance with the im provements this function is accomplished by 5 employing a double hinge between the front and back covers. Another consideration is to provide such a holder of simple and inexpensive form with suitable spring retain ing means for the loose leaves whereby they may be readily inserted and removed. The

If preferred, the binders may be hung up on a suitable nail or peg provided for the purpose, an opening a being formed in the bottom plate near the upper edge, for that purpose.

What I claim is:
