Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 198,140, dated December 11, 1877 application filed October 11, 1877.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM A. MIDDLE- TON, of Harrisburg, in the county of Dauphin, and in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Wire Fences 5 and do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification.

This burr may be varied in its shape, or mode of clamping the wire, but still not change the invention.
Having. thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
