This invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in a mechanical display device and has for its principal object the provision of a mechanically operated turn table embodying rotating tables concentrically mounted and adapted for rotation in opposite directions and equipped with figures surrounded by mirrors, wherein the figures of the tables may be displayed in series by the mirrors;
A further object of this invention is the provision of a mechanical display device particularly adapted for Christmas gardens or for other decoration purposes, and has for its object the provision of rotatable concentrically'mounted tables carrying series of figures, which tables are surrounded by panels of mirrors, whereby the figures of the tables may be displayed in series and the movement thereof reflected by the mirrors during the rotational movement of said tables.
A still further object of this invention is the provision of a mechanical display device equipped with rotating tables for motion in (mposite directions, having secured thereto on the upper face thereof, certain figures and a mirrored. surface surrounding said tables so as to reflect the figures and the movements thereof during the rotational action of said tables.
lVith these and other objects in view, the invention consists in certain novel features, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter, more fully described, pointed out in the accompanying drawings, and claimed.

Referring to the drawings, the numeral 5 indicates a casing having a supporting bottom wall 6, on the inner face of which is mounted a suitable motor 7 having a source of power 8, and this motor is equipped with a worm 9, which has contact with a gear 10 mounted to a shaft 11 journaled in a standard 12 on the platform 6. This shaft 11 has secured thereto, a pair of relatively spaced drive pulleys 13, the purpose of which will 7 be hereinafter more fully described.
Mounted centrally upon the platform 6 on the inner face thereof, is a bearing 14, which has mounted therein a shaft 15. This shaft has fixed thereto, a pulley 16, and loosely mounted thereon above the fixed pulley 16, is a pulley 17 and this pulley 17 is secured by suitable fastening means 18, to the intersecting table supporting arms 19, and secured to the terminals of the arms 10 is an outer 10- pulley 16 and lowermost pulley 13, respectively, while a belt 27 suitably crossed is secured to the uppermost pulley 13 and the pulley 17, respectively.
It can be readily seen that when the motor, is energized its worm 9 will be rotated,
a 21, respectively, and by virtue of the cross all transmit-ting motion to gear 10, through shaft 11, to pulleys 13, through pulleys 13 to 16 and 17, respectively, thus to tables 20 and belt 27 the tables 20 and 21, respectively, will be rotated in opposite directions.
The tables '20 and 21, respectively, are equipped with suitable openings 28, to receive therein lugs 29 and 30, respectively, of the figure carrying discs 31 and 32, respec tively, these lugs entering'the openings 28, so that the discs 31 and 32-, respectively, are intact with the tables 20 and 21, respectively, to be rotated simultaneously therewith.
The casing 5 is provided onits interior, adjacent'the bottom wall 6 thereof, with a supporting flange 33, which is adapted to receive a plurality of sectional vertically disposed mirrored panels 34, throughout its en tire interior area. These mirrored panels 34 are arranged in a parabolic position and are for: the purpose of reflecting the surfaces of the discs 31 and 32, respectively, as they are rotated by virtue of the motor I The discs 31 and 32, respectively, have secured to their upper side, given figures 35, as clearly illustrated in Figure 1, and these figures'are so separated as to give an absolute vision of moving objects when the tables are rotated, and these figures are reflected in series by the mirroredjpanels 34, as clearly illustratedin Figure 1 of the drawings.
The mirrored panels 34 extend around the entire circumference of the casing 5, and onehalf of said casing 5 has the mirrored panels extending upwardly for a distance twice the length of the other half, as at 36, the purpose being'to-permit the device tobe set down 'in'a gardensurface, as illustrated in I Figure 4, and the reflecting surfaces be given at variouspomts. However, there is no limitation; as' to the construction of the 'm1rrored surfaces.
Itcan be readily'seen that when the defor use in a Christmas garden a display device comprising a casing, reflecting surfaces on the interior of said casing, oppositely rotating tables concentrically mounted within said casing and mirrored surfaces, and means for rotating said tables, as and for the purpose as hereinbefore described.
2. A display device comprising a casing said casing being fullyopen at its top and the back portion of which extends substantially higher than the front portion of same for the purpose of more readily observing the reflected moving objects in a mirrored surface on the interior of said casing, concentrically mounted oppositely rotating tables located within the casing and mirrored surfaces, figures mountedzupon said tables, and means for rotating said tables for reflecting said figures in said mirrors.
3. A display device particularly adapted for use in Christmas gardens comprising a casing, top thereof having a low front wall and a substantially iigher rear Wall for the purpose of more readily observing reflected objectsin the interior of said casing, said casing having a mirrored interior surface, concensaid casing being. fully open at the trically mounted oppositelyrofatingtables located within the casing and its-mirrored surface, figure carrying discs mounted on said tables, figuressecured to said discs, and reflected'by said mirrored surface, and means for rotating said tables and discs whereby said figures may be reflected by said mirrored surfaceasmoving over said surface.
