These 55 ianges are so turned as to leave spaces or channels 6 and 7 for the insertion of cards 8 and 9, and, numerals or other indicators 10 and 11, two of which are shown removed in Fig. 5. These numerals are preferably formed from Celluloid. f
Secured to the back Iof the mat 1 is a stapleshaped piece 12, attached thereto by means of raised, or struclcup portions 13 and 14, of the mat 1. As a further means of support, the raised portions 15 and 16 of the mat 1, engage in the loops 17 of the staple 12. rI he ends 18 and 19 of the staple 12 are pointed lor sharpened for the purpose of inserting them into an article to be displayed.V The top or horizontal member 20 of the staple 12 acts as a stop or support for the card 9, which is inserted in the channels 7 at the top and pushed downward until stopped by 20.

At the ends of these projections, 23, 24, 25 and 26 are other smaller projections 27, which act as spacers for the letters or numerals.
Referringto Fig. 6, 28. represents a clip riveted or fastened to the mat 1 for the purpose of attaching same to a shelf or projecting edge of some sort, 29, showing adaptability of invention by substitution of various simple means of fastening.
