The primary object of the invention is to provide hair and scalp treating apparatus wherein motor operated air circulating devices are adapted to be associated withacap or hood that is placed over the hair or scalp of a person for circulating air throughthe hood for a drying treatment after a shampoo operation and having a heater device for heating the air currents.

Another object of the invention is to provide hair and scalptreating apparatus of the foregoing character embodyingmotor operated air circulating devices and a heater receptacle to contain hair or scalp treating fluid of any preferred character with means forming communication with the air circulating devices to promote the flow of air into the heater casing and the discharge therefrom of the fluid in a heated condition through a valve controlled" conduit for hair and scalp treatmentj V The invention further embodies means in combination with'air circulating devices of the foregoing character for removing *d'andruff and for similar scalp treatments.

Referring more in detail; to the acc'om-' panying drawings, there is illustrated portablehair'and scalp treating apparatus comprising a motor supporting frame 10 rotatably mounted upon the upper end of'a standard 11 rising froma footed base frame 12 having casters to facilitate shifting movements of the apparatus.

An electric motor 13 is fixedly mounted in the frame 10'and has a conductor 14 in communication therewith, the conductor carrying a connector plug 15 for'attachmentto an'electric socket from a source of potential.
