Still another object of the invention is to provide the adjacent edges ofV thesections with cooperative concave bearing surfaces and to hinge the under-sides of the adjacent edges of the sections together.

' j A furthery obj ec-t of the mvention is to prio"-1 vide each of the sections with a depending peripheralframe to whichA issecured a top member, the adjacent edges of the frames of the sections being hinged together at their undersides and the said adjacent edges of the frames having cooperative concave bearing surfaces to grip an umbrella stockV orpole. Preferably, the legs of the table are pivoted to fold within the depending peripheral frames and when so folded, the sections may 25 be folded together to enclose the legs by the topmembers, there being means to lock the sections in folded position.
