AUTOMATIC TIME-CONTROLLED SUGGESTION MACHINE Application filed October 20, 1928. Serial No. 313,748.
The invention relates to an automatic, timethereof, in which one simple embodiment of controlled, suggestion machine. the invention is shown:
The object of the invention is to provide an Referring to said drawing:
automatic means for utilizing thepsychologi- Fig. 1 is a front elevation; and

2. An automatic time-controlled suggestion machine having, in combinatiommeans for supporting a sound reproducing record, a sound reproducer, a tone arm, an electric motor for driving said record supporting means, a clock mechanism electrically connected to said motor, means carried by the .minute hand of said clock mechanism for establishing electrical contacts at predetermined intervals to cause said motor to start,
, trically connected to said motor, means carand means carried by said tone arm to establish an electric contact and cause said motor to continue to operate until said sound reproducing record has been played and the tone arm has been returned to its initial position.
3. An automatic time-controlled suggestion machine having, in combination, a turntable for supporting a sound reproducing record, a sound reproducer adapted to traverse said record, a tone arm carrying said sound reproducer, an electric motor for driving said turntable, a clock mechanism elecried by the minute hand of said clock mechanism for establishing electrical contacts at predetermined intervals to cause said motor to start, means carried by said tone arm to establish an electric contact and cause said motor to continue to operate until said record has been played, and means for returning said sound reproducer and tone arm to their initial position so that said motor ceases to operate.
4:. An automatic time-controlled suggestion machine having, in combination, a turntable for supporting a sound reproducing record, a sound reproducer adapted to traverse said record. a tone arm carrying said sound reproducer, an electric motor for driving said turntable, a clock mechanism electrically connected to said motor, a spring finger carried by the minute hand of said clock mechanism for establishing electrical contacts at predetermined intervals to cause said motor to start, a finger carried by said tone arm to cooperate with a fixed contact and establish an electric circuit to cause sald motor to continue to operate until said record has been played, said spring finger carried by the minute hand maintaining its electric circuit until the finger carried by the tone arm establishes its electric circuit, and means for returning said sound reproducer and tone arm to their initial position at which time the finger carried by the tone arm moves away from its fixed contact so that said motor ceases to operate.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature.
