By adjusting the cam member 2O the time or point at which the pawl engages the ratchet teeth may be determined and thereby the length of the stroke of thepawl .15 as it engages the ratchet teeth may bemade lbnger or shorter. For the ypurpose of adjusting the cam there is pivoted thereto at 23 a'link member 24. To the'other end of Y this link member 24 at the point indicated vby 25 another link 26 is pivoted and isguided in the frame 27.
