From the foregoing description taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, it will be noted that the device may be easily and quickly applied to a container and may be removed therefrom should it be desired to replace the container by another, thus permitting the device to be employed on any number of containers. WVith the device applied to the neck of the container in the heretofore described manner and with the cap in a closed position, it is impossible to remove the contents of the container without the employment of the key.
While I have shown and described the preferred embodiment of my invention, it will be understood that minor changes in construction, combination and arrangement of parts may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of my invention, as claimed. 7
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is: 4
1. A lock cap comprising a plate having slots, means for securing the plate to the neck of a container, a closure for the plate, hook shaped elements on the closure and extending through the slots, and a key actuated means for securing the cap to the plate. I
2. A look cap comprising a plate having slots, means for securing the plate to the neck of a container, a closure for the plate, hook shaped elements on the closure and extending through the slots, an inner closure member disposed in the neck of the container and having a marginal flange overlying the plate and a key actuated means between the first named closure and the inner closure for adjusting them relative to each other.
3. A look cap comprising a plate having slots, means for detachably securing the plate to the neck of a container, a closure for the plate and concealing said means, hook shaped elements on the closure and extending through the slots, a cup shaped member dis posed in the neck of the container, a marginal flange on said cup shaped member and overlying the plate, and a key actuated means between the closure and the cup-shaped member for securing the closure to the plate.
4. A look cap comprising a plate having slots, a marginal flange for said plate, means for securing the plate to the neck of a container, an arcuate shaped member disposed in the neck, a marginal flange on the cup shaped element and overlying the plate, a closure received within the first named marginal flange, hook shaped elements on the closure and received within the slots, a stem journalled to the cup shaped elements, a
post on the closure and threaded to the stem, and a reduced shank on the stem to be engaged by a key.
5. A look cap comprising a plate having slots, and disposed about the neck of a container with a portion of the material of the container disposed thereover, a sleeve in the neck, a marginal flange on the sleeve and overlying the material of the neck disposed over the plate, fasteners extending through the flanged material of the neck and plate, a closure over the plate, hook shaped elements on the closure and extending through the slots, and a key actuated means for securing the closure to the plate.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature.
