In use, whenrthe door sectionsare in closedposition the bin "is locked {against unauthor- 7 iZed withdrawal: of the-contents by applying suitable seals and locks to the hasps on the pivoted door section, 22, cover 27 and a closure most membr 20. To close thedoor,'the abov edescribed operations are reversed, When the sliding sections are 1n closed position the r ends abut,
one against another behind the transverse framemembers 20, as indicated at 21, and themembers 20 make a weather-tight connection between the sections. The continuous metal guide channels imade weather-proof joints along 'theside'edges of the door sections. 'l/Vhen the pivoted section 22 is in closed position it issimilarly :sealed and is retained in the pathof the sections 15 and 16 by'the locking means which prevent upward sliding of said section out of engagement with the frame member 20. All of the door sections are -p'referably of hollow box form with the "flanges forming their side edges extending inward from the main panel constituting the outer door surface.
This gives ample rigidity and strength to-the door; 7
Ha-ving described my invention what I claim-as new and desire to protect by Letters Patent is:
1. In a doorstructurefor grain blns or the -like,fparallel frame members extending along thesides of a'door opening, inner and outer guide members extending along said frame rnembers toreceive slidable door sections between them, said outer guide membersterminating a substantial'distancefrom'the ends of said inner guide mem'bers to form an end opening for the insertion and remova'l of the door sections, shdable door sections-adapted to be moved longitudinallybetween said inner'and outer guide members and to abut, :end to-end, one against another when inclosed position, an end door section extending in the path of said movable sections when in closed position and movable to open position through said end opening and means for "securing said' end doorsection in "the path of said slidable door sections to retain them in closed position.
2. In a door structure for grain bins or the like, parallel frame members extending :along'the sides ofa'door opening, inner and outer guide -members extending along said frame member's to receiveslidable do'orsectionsbetween them, saidouteriguide members terminating a substantial distance from the ends of said inner guide members to form an end opening for the insertion and removal of the door sections, slidable door sections adaptedto be moved longitudinally between said inner and outer guide members and to abut, end to end, one againstanother when in closed position, an end door section movable to open position through said end opening and disposed in end to end abutment with a slidable'section when in closed position, a pivotal support for said end section having a pivotal axis extending transverse said frame members and means for securing said end section in the path of said slidable sections to retain them in closed position.
3. In a'doorstructure for grainbins or the like, longitudinal door frame members mounted in spaced, :parallel relation, transverse frame members connecting said longitudinal members at intervals, inner and outerguide members extending along said longitudinal frame members and forming continuous channels for door sections, an opening being formed in said outer guidemembers-to permit the insertion and removalof door sections, slidable door sections severally spanning the space between. adjacent transverse frame members and adaptedzto be moved longitudinally in said channels to and from closed position, a pivoted door section movable to open position through and disposed in, the path ofsaid slidable sections-when in closed position said opening andmeans for securing said pivoted door section in the pathof said slidable door sections to retain them-in'closed position. 7

In a door structure forgrain bins or the :like,. longitudinal door frame members mounted in spaced, parallel relation, trans-- verse frame members-connecting said longitudinal members at intervals, inner and outer guide members extending along said longitudinal frame members and forming continuous channels for door sections, an opening being formed in said outer guide members to permit-theinsertion and removal -ofdoor sections,sl idable doorsections severally spanning the space between adjacent, transverse frame members and adapted to be moved longitudinally in said channels, said *sections abutting, end 'to end, one against another at sald transverse members and the lines of'contact betweensections being covered by said transversemembers when said sections are in closed positions, apivoted door section movable to-open position through said opening and means for securing said pivoted section in the path-of said slidable sections toxretain them in closed position.
