ROAD DRAG.
Application filed February G, 1928. Serial No. 252,288.
rIhe present invention relates to improvements in road drags and has for its principal object to provide a ground engaging unit that presents two surface engaging edges.
One of the important objects of the present invention is to provide a road drag which is simple in construction, inexpensive, strong and durable and further well adapted to the purpose for which it is designed.
Other objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent during the course of the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying` drawing.

In the drawing wherein for the purpose of illustration is shown the preferred embodiment of my invention, the numeral l designates generally my improved road drag, the same comprising a pair of parallel spaced units siste of an elongated metallic member that is curved transversely throughout its entire length whereby to provide two ground en.- gaging edges indicated at l with reference more particularly to Figure 2.
The units are securedtogether in properly spaced relation through the medium of the transversely extending struts 5, the saine eX- tending through registering slots formed in the units and being welded or otherwise rigidly attached thereto.
he forward ends of the struts are bent to provide loops 6 and as is clearly illustrated in Figure l, one of such struts is arranged adjacent each end of the elongated units 2 and 8.
Suitable brace rods Z extend between the struts 5 for further adding to the rigidity of the drag.

In the present instance, two ground engaging units are disclosed, and therefore four earth working edges are provided due to the construction of each of the units and additional units may be added in order to increase the number of earth engaging blades as may be desired.
The top of each unit is formed with suitable openings 13 for the purpose of facilitating the attachment of additional weights, not shown.
It is also to be understood that the units of the drag may vary in length. A road drag constructed in accordance with the present invention will be very inexpensive and due to its simplicity will at all times be positive and eiiicient in carrying out the purposes for which it is designed.
`While I have shown the preferred embodi- 7 ment of my invention it is to be understood that minor changes may be made therein without departing from the spirit of the invention and the scope of the appended claim.
Having thus described the invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is In a road drag, a pair of metallic members, each of which is curved transversely throughout its entire length to provide a plurality of g5 ground engaging edges, transversely extending struts rigidly secured to the members for holding the same in parallel spaced relation, said members being formed with registering slots through which the respective struts eX- 9o tend, and means secured to the forward ends of the struts to afford a connection of the drag with a draft appliance.
