The particular form of my device shown in the accompanying drawings comprises al casing have the channel shaped top 10, bottom 11, ends 12, 12 and sides 13, 13.
A plurality ot inturned wings 14, 14, form a plurality of vertical openings in the sides 13, 13, the openings in the two sides being opposite each other.
Between opposite openings in the sides 13, 13, and capable ot abutment upon the opening wing le, 14 oi one side is a shutter 15, pivotally carried by the pivots 16, 16.
Each shutter 15 is pivotally attached to the longitudinal rod 17 by the link 18,1ixedly attached to the shutter 15 at 19.
One end ot the rod 1T carries a kpin 21 movable within the slot 22 of the bent arm 23 revoluble upon the lined shaft 24. The arm 23 carries the handle 25.

My device, therefore, presents a visionless ventilator through which the passage of air may be allowed or prevented by simple and eective means.

In a visionless ventilator, in combination, a casing having a top, a bottom, tivo ends and two sides, each side having a plurality of vertical openings, the openings in the two sides being in opposite `alignment with each other; a wing extending inwardly from each side margin of each opening; a pivotal shutter positioned between each pair of opposite openings and capable of abutment'with the wings adjacent to one opening and means exterior of the device whereby rthe shutters may be moved into abutment and non-abutmentwith said adja cent wings.
