It has heretofore been attempted to com# i bine sound producing devices with animated figures, the operation of the animated figure being obtained in response to the; wind blast y which actuatesthe soundl producing device.

It will be observed that in my invention the operating means for the sound producing device and for the animated figure are each as simple and rugged as they might be in separated toys, but that they have been so combined together and relatively located that they may readily be operated by a single movement of the hand, this being especially evident by inspection of Figs; l and 2.

From the foregoing description it is manifest that the structure set forth, While an eX- ceptionally simple and rugged one forthe purpose intended, is, to the outside onlooker, just as fully automatic and lifelike in operation as though the movement of the figure were obtained in some much more complex manner.` Y

It will be apparent'that While I have shown and described my invention in the preferred form, many changes and modifications may be made in the structure disclosedy Without departing from the `spirit of the invention7 deiined in the following claims.4

I claim:

l. A toy comprising a horn, a compressible rubber bulb atv one end ofthe horn, a facial ligure having movable features'a'ffixed to the other end of said horn, mechanical means for actuating the movable features extending Within the horn and including an actuatingV button located externally of-but sosituated relative to the'compressible bulb thatthe bulbv and the but-ton may both be directly operated by one hand with a single movement thereof in order to simultaneously blow" the horn and move the features of the face.

2. A toy comprising a conicalhorn, acoinpressible rubber bulb at the small end of the horn, a facial figure having movable features aHXed to the'large end of said horn, mechanical means for actuating the'movable featuresv including a lever extending Within the horn and having its operating end so situated rela-- tive to the compressible bulb that the bulb and the lever may bothbe-directly operated by one hand with a single movementk thereof in order to simultaneously blowV the horn and move the features ofthe face.

A toy comprising a horn, a manually operable device for blowing said horngvan animated figure afIiXed to the egress end of said horn and covering the mouth thereof, and mechanical means concealedl Within the horn for actuating the animated figure, said mechanical means being provided Witha' manually operable element extending exterinally of the horn and so situated relative to the horn blowing device that both maybe di? rectly operated by one hand With a single movement thereof.

4. The toy set forth in claim 3 in which the animated figure comprises relatively movable facial sections the relative movement of which produces changes of facial expressions in the figure.
