My present invention relates to bracelet extension devices, and has particular reference to bracelet extension devices suitable for use a folded position.

A further object is to provide a bracelet extension device which is less noticeable when folded than similar devices of this nature.
With these and other objects and advantageous features in view, my invention consists in a novel arrangement of parts more fully disclosed in the detailed description following, in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, and more particularly-set In the drawings: I

It has been found desirable to provide an after described. 3 T I of the base section toextend over the end .section and its associated strap and engage the base section to releasably lock the exten sion device in folded positionjand the following is a detailed description of one 'constructional form .of extension device embodying the principles of my invention.
Referring to the drawings, the extension device includes abase'section 10 and an end section 11 hingedly secured together as at 12, the strap ends 13 and 14 beingpivotally secured to the free ends of the two sections.
The base section 10 is channel shape in cross-section, the two walls, 15, 16, receiving the end section 11 and the strap end 13 when the extension device is in folded position. Each wall'has a resilient finger, respectively designated 17 and 18, formed therein, pref erably by cuttingvertical slots in thewalls,
the resilient fingers 17 and18 each having snap grooves 19 therein for a purpose herein- Pivotally mounted on the strap end of the basesection 10v is'a catch 20, which may be, and preferably is, hinged directly on 'the hingepin connecting the strap end '14. and the base section 10.
