SALMON WASHBURN, JR, OF TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS.
IMPROVEMENT IN HOLDERS FOR PRICE-LISTS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 177,904, dated May 23, 1876; application filled November 27, 1875.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, SALMON WAsHBUnN, Jr., of Taunton, in the county of Bristol and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Holder for Price- Lists, which improvement is fully set forth in the following specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
The object of my invention is to provide for salesmen and others a frame for protecting price-lists, so compact as to be out of the way when not in use, and to be easily handled.
The frame is formed with a handle, B, on one end, and a loop, 0, for hanging, upon the other. To the sides of this frame is fastened the receptacle E for the price-lists, made of thin metal, turned up at the edges, and carried across the handle end of this frame to form a bottom to the receptacle. At the top of the receptacle a piece of wire is soldered across, in order to stiffen the frame, and in the latter being mounted upon the frame A and divided by it into two compartments, all as set forth.
