floor 6 of the pit are'transverse axles 7 'upon which grooved wheels 8 ane rotatably mounted adjacent the opposite ends of each axle. An oscillated frame l() is formed with a pair of Vsemi-circular tracks l1 of T-rail configur-- .ation arranged in alignment to be supported within the groovewheels 8 and are connected rtogether by transverse and` parallel framework 13. Included within said semi-circutangular relationl are platforms 14 and l5 having theirl rectangular corners 16;4v supported in a cast metal block 17 mounted upony said track rails of the frame midway `between its ends. The opposite ledges of the platforms le and l5 are secured in cast metalbrackets 18 and 20 adjacent, respectively, the opposite ends of the track rails. SaidI platforms may be of any suitable construction, as illustrated, wherein 'the beams 2l are provided with a decking 22 of heavy ywood flooring. Strut members 23 'areprovided rigidly connecting Intermediate the track rails 11 is a semiframe members 13. A toothed pinion 26 is mounted upon a shaft 27. Said pinion is in meshwith the rack 25 and is operatively ro tated withthe shaft 27 by means of a sprocket wheel 30 keyed to the shaft 27 and actuatf ed by-a sprocket chain 3l extending about a l sprocket pinion .32 keyed" to a shaft .33 to n whichla hand wheel is operatively/'connected.
-Two pairs of horizontallyaligned slots y36 ss are jl'ormedin each said platform decking yin each of which a tiltable metal dog` 37 is pivfotally connected at 38 and adapted to vswing outwardly into and beyond the deck surface into a position slightly inclined upwardly tof90 the horizontal when the Yrespective platform j .is swung into vertical ypositioninits turn. Thus each horizontal pair .of said dogs lprovides projecting ledge lupon which a roller 40, which may be formed of metal pipe, may i be supported. Two such rollers may thus be supported on the vertically disposed platform preparatory toeach tippingoperation `for "the pinposeshereinafterdescribed.4 A
fThe matterk of utilizing andoperating-my `100 invention may be briefly vdescribed as follows.
The concrete pipe sections, such as 41, are customarily'allowed to set and curefor a considerable period after their formation upon a metal ring or palette 42. After the pipe has attained av sufficient age to stand upon its side,it is conveyed to the tipping apparatus, forming the subjectmatter of this application, whereupon it is laid upon the platform v to he on its side.

Pipe-t-ipping apparatus, consisting in a `pair of platforms rdisposed in rectangular relation, means nto actuate said platforms into 'alternately verticaly andhorizontal positions,
