,This invention relates to railway trucks and more particularly to the construction of the side frames bolster and associated parts for permitting lateral motion of said bolster 5 with respect to said frames, said bolster being in t e present instance of the built-up l5 and curves in t e track and for relieving the members thereof from sudden and undue strains.
Another object of my invention is to provide a railway truck utilizing a built-up bolster with castings on the ends thereof adapted to provide rocker seats for lateral motion and interlocking with associated sprin caps.
A f urther object of my invention is to provide railway trucks formedwith side frames having bolster openings receiving springs and spring caps, said spring caps being desirably formed with a spring supported ortion and upwardly opening pockets receivin the lower ends of rockers, the upper on s of said rockers being received in corresponding downwardly opening pockets in the end castings of built-up bolsters, said end castings being also provided with inner column guide lugs for limitingloutward movement thereof with respect to t so formed as to provide for centering the bolster.

The pockets 34 in the casting are preferably formed with depending lug portions 35 fit ting in corresponding notches 36in the sides of the rockers 22 forholding the parts in proper relation with respect to each other.
