My invention relatesin general to ink fdispensers, and has more particular reference to a mechanism used in connection with an ink container, whereby an inking pen, 'rem'ovably 1' positioned Within thebottle, may be raised therefromtoa position for delivering ink. To illustrate my invention I have shown on'the dra'wings an ink container 11,which, in the illustratedembodiment, is. formed of glass, but which, it will'be understood, may be formed of any convenient material, and have any convenient sh ape size. The containerll is mounted in a socket 119', formed in the base'for the purpose of maintaining the bottle'in proper relative position withrrespect to the arm 15, and operating lever,and is secured in place by means ofa resilient clip 69 securedto an integral raisedportion 49 extending upwardly of the base 13 behind the socket 19. The clip is secured to the portion 49 bymeans of a screw 71 or other suitable fastener, and extends forwardly thereof, having arms embracing the neck'ofthe ink container. The arms are adapted to engage over the shoulders of the bottle, and, being deflected upwardly from normal-position when the container is arranged in place, serve to securely clamp the container'in its socket;

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to protect by Letters Patent is 1. In a device of the class described, a container, a frame for supporting it, an inking tip movably arranged within the container, means for moving said inking tip to ink delivering position and cooperating stops carried by the tip moving and tip supporting means for preventing over-travel of the tip.

2. In a device of the class described, a

frame, an ink container supported in said frame, an inking device removably positioned within'said container, a lifting arm to which said inking device is mounted, an operating member for moving said arm, said member being pivoted in said frame and having a detent adapted to engage said arm to limit the movement imparted thereto by said'member.

3. In a. device of the class described comprising, a frame, an ink container supported in the frame, an inking device removably positioned within the container, a pivoted arm on which said inking device is carried, a manuallyoperable lever for moving said arm, and means insaid lever adapted to engage cooperating means formed in said arm to prevent over-travel thereof.

4- In a device of the class described including an ink container and an inking device removably positioned within said container,

means for raising said inking device, a piv oted member for actuating said means and co-operating means formed and arranged on said means and, member to prevent over travel of the inking device and to secure the same firmly in inkrdelivering positionwhen desired. a

In a device of the class describedhaving a frame, an ink container supported in said frame and an inking device removably positioned within the container, means for raising said device to ink delivering posi-. tion comprising an arm pivoted in said frame, an actuating member'for said arm and means co-operating between said arm and said actuating member for preventing over-travel of the former. In a device of the class described having a frame, an ink container supported in said frame and an inking device removably positioned within the container, means for raising said device to ink delivering position comprising an arm pivoted to said frame, an actuating member for moving said arm. and co-operating means arranged on said arm and said actuating member to provide interlocking engagement therebetween ing a frame, a container supported in said frame and a removable cover for said container, an arm pivoted in said frame and carrying said cover and a member for moving said arm to raise said cover, said member having a portion adapted to engage beneath said arm to hold the same in raised position. 8. In a device of the class described hav'- ing a base, an ink container supported in said base, a removable cover thereon, and an inking device removably positioned within saidcont ainer, means for raisin said cover and said inking device, the in ing device support means and the said means for raising same having cooperating portions adapted to engage when the inking device and the said cover are in fully raised position for propping the same in raised position.

9. In a device of the class described, an

ink container, an inking device removably positioned within said container and comprising a shank havin a. threaded lower end and a spring threaded upon said lower end and carrying an inking tip.

In a device of the class described including an ink container, an arm pivoted ad jacent said container and having a portion overhanging the same, an inking device comprising a shank having an end mountedin said arm and athreaded lower end movable into and out of said container, said lower end having threaded engagement with an inking loop resiliently attached thereto and adapted to assume normal position after being displaced therefrom.

In a device of the class described, an ink container, an inking device removably positioned within said container and means for raising said device to ink delivering position including a carrylng arm, said dev ce comprising an inking tip supported by a rotatably mounted rod to permit angular adjustment of the tip.
