Referring to the drawings, W, WV, W, represent steel partition walls, forming a part (in the present instance) of the jail construction, between which the shower inclosure A is disposed. The inclosure A is formed of two sheet steel plates 1 and 2 bent U-shaped so as to leave one side open. Each plate is supported from the walls WV and spaced therefrom by a plurality of brackets 3 and clips 4.

The brackets 3 are riveted or welded to the walls lV and the clips are fastened in like manner to the plates 1 and 2, and in erecting the plates 1 and 2 in place the lower plate 1 is first mounted by means of its clips 4 on the two lower rows of brackets 3. In order that there may be no leakage of water to adjacent parts of the building, a lead drip pan 5 is positioned beneath the plate 1, its upper edge extending between the walls W and the lower part of plate 1. The edges G, 6 of plate 1 are bent outwardly as Theobj'ects' o'f the invention, aside frein shown (Fig.` 3) and have their extremities 7, 7 turned back so as to lit snugly into-spaces S, S, formedbetween sidewalls W, NV, and marginalangles 8, 8 which are fastened to said walls inl spaced relation by meanspof narrow strips 9, 9" (Fig. 3). After plate l'has'been securely "fired in `1; lace,'plate 2 is mounted'by means of its clips 4 on the three upper rows of brackets 3 on the walls W, W, V. The bottom row of clips 4 on plate 2 are spaced sufhciently above the lower edge 2 of plate 2 so that when the clips of this row engage the'brackets positioned to receive them, the edge 2 0f plate 2 will overlap the upper edge 1 of plate 1 and contact closely therewith. Having positioned plate 2, the space S formed between said plate and walls W is also filled with concrete C so that the ent-ire space between the shower inclosure A and walls WY is provided with a. concrete filling. A metal coping 12 is secured to the upper edge of plate 2 and the inner surface of walls W, spanning the space between said plate and walls, and giving to the inclesure a proper finish. A shower head 13 is secured to one side of plate 2 near the top thereof, said inclosure being connected with a water-pipe 14, the supply of water being controlled from a valve (not shown) located in some readily accessible position, said valve being, under the control of the jailer or guard in the case of prisons.

Having described my invention, I claim:

1. In combination with a plurality of par-- tition walls, a shower bath inclosure spaced from said walls, said inclosure comprising a plu ality of U-shaped plates in superposed relation, means for mounting the plates on the inner surfaces of the walls, said mounting means consisting of brackets projecting from the walls and clips secured to thel sides of the plates, the brackets being adapted for i engagement between the clips and plate and a suitable filling material in the space between the plates and partition walls.

2. In combination with a plurality of partition walls.l a shower bath inclosure, or stall, spaced from said walls, the sides of said inclosure comprising plates supported by the partition walls, said supporting means comprising upstanding brackets fixed to the walls and depending clips iixed to the plates, said brackets and clips being shaped for intimate engagement and a suitable lilling material in the space between the plates and partition walls.

3. In combination with a plurality of partition walls, a shower bath inclosure, or stall, spaced from said walls, the sides of said inclosure comprising plates supported by the partition walls, said supporting means comprising upstanding brackets fixed to the walls and depending clips fixed to the plates, said brackets and clips being shaped tor intimate engagement, and a concret-e filling in the space between the plates and partition walls.

4. In combination with a plurality oi partition walls, a shower bath inclosure, or stall, spaced from said walls, the sides of said inclosure comprising plates supported by the partition Walls, said supporting means comprising upstanding brackets fixed to the walls and depending clips fixed to the plates, said brackets and clips being shaped tor intimate engagement, and, angles vertically secured in spaced relation to the side partition walls and disposed to deiine the margins of the inclosure, the edges of the plates having lateral extensions abutting said angles and nesting in the spaces between the angles and the side walls and a suitable lilling material in the space between the plates and partition walls.

5. In combination with a plurality ot' partition walls7 a shower bath inclosure spaced from said walls, the sides o said inclosure con'iprising plates supported by the partition walls, the supporting means thereot' comprising cooperating formations on the walls and plates adapted for frictional engagement, and a suitable filling material be* tween the walls and plates. e
