COMBINATION HOUSEHOLD ARTICLE.
Application filed November 18, 1924. Serial No. 750,627.
The invention provides an article which may be used for a variety of purposes and which includes a main frame and inte1 changeable parts, whereby the device 1s adapted for use as a soap holder, a clothes sprinkler, a pot scraper, a scrub-brush and a polishing brush, the several parts interfitting with the frame and adapted to be locked thereto when in position.
Other objects and advantages will be apparent and suggest themselves as the nature of the invention is understood.
While the drawings illustrate an embodi ment of the invention it is to be understood that in adapting the same to meet different conditions and requirements, various changes in the form, proportion and minor details of construction may be resorted to without departing from the spirit of the invention.

The main frame comprises a handle 10 and a head 11 and is preferably formed of sheet metal, opposite edge portions of the head 11 being recurved to provide guides 12. A loop 13 is provided at the outer end of the handle 10 and provides convenient means for suspending the article from a nail or analogous part. A. spring-actuated catch 14: is mounted upon the handle portion 10 of the frame adjacent the head 11 and is adapted to engage any one of the interchangeable attachments to hold the same in place. The several attachments are adapted to be fitted to the head of the frame and each has outwardly disposed flanges 15 to engage the guides 12- when placed in position, the catch 14 engaging an eye 16 at one end of the ottachment. The soap holder comprises a frame 17 and a screen 18, the latter extending across the open side of the frame so as 7 to retain a cake of soap 19 in place, as shown most clearly in Figures 4 and 5. p
The pot scraper comprises a frame 20 and a flexible scraper 21 attached to a side thereof, this being shown in Figures 6 and 7. The clothes sprinkler comprises a frame 22 provided with a perforated bottom 23 through which water is adapted to escape in fine jets, thereby enabling the device to be used as a sprinkler. The brush attachment so comprises a frame 24 having tufts or brush material 25 applied to a side thereof and this brush material may be fine, as indicated in Figures 10 and 11, to provide a polishing brush, or coarse and heavy, as indicated in Figures 12 and 18, to provide a scrub-brush.
