The upper chemise portion of the bloomer garment, as will hereinafter be explained'is provided with a draw string or ribbon forA tightening to afford the use .of such garment portion as a brassire.
' With the above and other objects in view, my invention consists in the novelcombina-v tion and construction or arrangement of the upper parts and members shown in the accompanyi ing drawing, described in the following specifications and particularly pointed out in t ie appended claims.
Referring to the illustrations Figure 1 is an elevation of a garment embodying my invention with a portion thereof broken away to 'show an under garment;
Figure 2 is a cross section taken on line 2 2 of Figure'l, showing the junction of the outer and innergarments;
Figure 3 is across section taken on lineP 3-3 of Figure 1, showing the draw string for the upper portion of the bloomer ga ment.
In the illustrations, 10 indicates a princess slip having'a skirt oi pettiecat portion 10A, The' upper edge of the slip 10 is provided with a fold 11 which embraces the upper'end or edge ofthe under garment 12, and securely retains same b a line of stitches 13. The fold 11, it wil be observed, is large enough to-providefor the ribbon or cord 14 by means of which the upper part of the garment .close fit.
The under garment 12 comprises integral bloomers 12A. and an upper portion 12B which may be worn as a chemise .or as a brassire, by drawing of the ribbon oil cord 15 whichis provided in the pocket '16A of the band 16.' v
A single pair of straps 18 -is provided which are` sewed to the upper portion of the .unitary garment.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and ters Patent is:
