EAR-CLEANING DEVICE.

My present invention hasreference to an ear cleaning device, and my object is the provision of an extremely simple, cheaply constructed but thoroughly efficient device for this purpose which comprises a shank of any desired or suitable material, formed at one end with a spoon and at its other end with a cross sectionally rounded head, the latter designed to serve as a scraping element for removing wax, ,dirt or other extraneous matter from the canal of theear, and for likewise serving as a. massaging element when gently reciproeated in the canal or passage of the ear. 7 y

As disclosed by the drawings, the im provement comprises a. cross sectionally rounded shank 1. The shank has one of its" ends flattened, widened and rounded. This rounded, as: at 4'. The second end of the shank 1 is integrally formed with a head 5.

The head is round in cross section. If desired, the outer face of the head may be concaved, as at 6, and preferably and as disclosed by Figure 4 of the drawings, the inner face of the head is concaved, as at 7. The improvement is of an extremely simple construction and may be cheaply manu factured and marketed. If desired, the shank 1 may have pivotally secured thereon, to the opposite sidesof the widened portion of the spoon two arched members that provide a tweezer.

Having described the invention, I claim I Inan ear cleaning device, a cross sectionally rounded shank having one of its ends integrally formed with a head which is round in plan and said head having its opposite faces concaved and the outer edges of the head being cross seetionally rounded.
