This invention relates to bulletin boards and more particularly; to such a device adaptedforuse as a train'bulletin'in railroad stations and'the like. I 7
An important object of the invention is to provide a novel bulletin board having inter changeable signswhereby thetime a trainis due may be posted together with the time of its probable-arrival. Y

Each face of the plate 23 and the inner faces of the plates 22 are provided with supports 24-. These supports are identical in construction and only one need be referred to in detail. As clearly shown in Figures and 9, eachsupport is provided with a series of angular su orting flanges 25 which incline downwardly and forwardly toward their lower ends. These flanges may be stamped from the material of the sup ports and correspond in arrangement to the openings in the bulletin board proper. This arrangement of the flanges is clearly shown in Figures 4t and While the supporting flanges 25 are shown as being formed of integral supports, it will be apparent that each of the supporting lianges may be separately y 28 with lugs formed and secured in position against the plates 22 and 23. As shown in Figure 2. single supports 25 are arranged at opposite ends of a separate opening 26 arranged near the top of the bulletin board, for a purpose to be described. p y
Interchangeable signs 2'7 are adapted to be arranged rearwardly of the openings in the bulletin board. provided with a flat forward face upon which may be painted the desired information as to the destinations of the trains, etc., andeach plate further provided with an upper horizontal flange 28. Lips 29 are formed at the ends of the plates, and the rear edges of these lips are slightly curved as indicated at ZBO. These curved edges are adapted to engage against the flanges 2521s clearly shown in Figure From this figure it will be apparent that the forwardfaces 27 are adapted to seat against the rear face of the bulletin board whereby the indicia on the'sign will be visible through one of the bulletin board openings, and the curved ed es of the li s 29 )ermits the si n to seat a l b firmly against the bulletin board. One set of signs preferably is provided with indicia to indicate the destinations of the trains and also the numbers of the trains, the former indicia being visible through the openings 19 and the latter through the o el'lings 18. The operation of the device is as follows: One of the main s gnplates 27 is arranged .rcarwardly of the uppermost openings 18 1 and 19, this plate bearing the destinations of one train together with its number, as in dicated. It will be obvious that the hooks 45 may be placed inany convenient-position to render the auxiliary plates readily accessible. For instance, the hooks may be provided on also against the inner face of the forward wall of the casing as indicated in theupper left hand corner of Figure 2.
It is to be understood that the form of the invention herewith shown and described is to be taken'as a preferred example of the same and that various changes in the shape, size and arrangelnentof parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit of the in' vention or the scope of thesubj oined claims.- I claim:
