An amplifying horn comprising a housing of two conical members located with their bases in contact, each member at its edge being formed with an outwardly ex- 10 tending lip. one of said members being perforated to emit sound, a sound amplifying horn located between said conical members and having its neck projecting therefrom and a hollow annular ring of metal slotted at its inner side located over said projecting lips and clamped there against to hold the housing members together.
