PATENT OFFICE.
ALFREDO NARANJO 13., OF HABANA, CUBA.
AEROPLANE.
Application flied October 20, 1928. Serial No. 669,764.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALFREDO NARANJO B., a citizen of the Republic of Cuba, residing at Habana, Province de la Habana, Cuba, '5' have invented new and useful Improvements in Aeroplancs, of which the followmg is a specification.
This apparatus is formed by a perpendicular shaft (B) to which'fonr biplanes 10 are affixed, (A). These biplanes rotate around three bearings (C D E). The planes move on a circular motion by means of propellers (F), run by motors placed on the biplanes as shown on drawing No. 1.
The shaft bears on its lower end a boat (1), drawing No. 2 in which goes a motor to make the horizontal traction, which is governed by the helm (0). There is a hoop 0n the outward side of the boat at- 20 tached to it by means of bars, which is used for landing. Due to its lower position the hoop will get in touch with land while the boat will remain out of all contact on account of being on anupper plane.
:6 For watering pur oses the apparatus is provided. beside the boat with four floating tanks situated on the lower end of the planes (A).
The planes are likewise provided with a joint on their backward end so as to modify 30 their surfaces whenever necessary.
I claim:
1. An aeroplane comprising a boat having a propeller and motor therefor at one end and a rudder at the other end, a landing hoop arranged below and around the boat and attached thereto, a shaft rising from the boat, and planes arranged for rotation and carried by the shaft.
2. An aeroplane comprising a boat having a ropeller and motor therefor at one end an a rudder at the other end, a landing hoop arranged below and around the boat and attached thereto, a shaft rising from the boat, and planes arranged for rotation and carried by the shaft, each plane having a joint at the rear side arranged to enable the surface of the plane to be modified as required.
In witness whereof I aflix my signature.
ALFREDO NARANJO B.
