Be it known thatI, JOHN FRANK ETTER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chambersburg, in the county of Franklin and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain nei'v and useful Improvements in Mop Tringers7 of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingr drawings.

This invention relates to certain improven'ients in mop Wringers and it is an object of thev invention to provide a novel and improved plate of this general character which can be readily and conveniently positioned. in place on the top of a bucket or the like to facilitate the squeezing or rinsing of a mop. 4

The invention consists in the details of construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several part-s of my improved mop wringer whereby certain important advantages are attained and the device rendered simpler, less expensive and' otherwise more convenient and advantageous for use, aswill be hereinafter more fully set forth.

The novel features of my invention Will hereinafter be definitely claimed. V

'In order that my invention may be the better understood` I will now proceed to describe the same with reference to, the accompanying drawings, wherein Figure 1 is aview in perspective illustrating a mop wringer constructed in ac-l cordance With an embodiment of my invention and in applied position, a mop for coaction therewith being indicated by broken lines;

Figure 2 is a sectional view taken through the mop wringer on the line. 2-2 of Figure 1, looking in the direction of the arrow`r a second position of the handle member being indicated by broken lines; and

Figure 3 is a transverse sectional view taken substantially on the line 3-3 of Figure 2, looking in the direction of the arrow.

As disclosed in the accompanying drawings, my improved mop Wringer comprises a frame F preferably formed of an elongated strand of requisite gauge and substantially rigid. From the foregoing description it is thought to`` be obvious that a mop wringer constructed in accordance with my invention is particularly well adapted for nse by reason of convenienee'l and aeiiity Withl which it may be assemb'led and operated, and it will also be obvious that my invention is sus'ceptible of some change and modifioation Without departing from the principles and spirit thereof and for this reason I do not Wish to be understood as limiting myself to the precise arrangement and formation of .the .several parts herein shown in earrying out my invention in practice except as hereinai'ter olaimed.
