TROUSERS PRESS.
Application filed October 1, 1925, Serial No when the apparatus is inserted into the trousers leg.
An embodiment of the invention is shown, by way of example, onthe accompanying drawing in which Fig. 1 shows in elevation the pocket with the slide inserted.
Fig. 2 is a cross section of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 shows the apparatus in working position.
In a pocket a a slide 7) is located which has a pin 0 engaging with a bayonet slot (Z of the top plate of the pocket a. When the slide 6 is in the position of rest pin 0 engages with an upwardly directed notch at the inner end of slot cl. Rubber bands 9 or springs are attached at the one end to the inner surface of the plates of the pocket and at the other end to the surfaces of slide 6.
. 59,929, and. in Germany September 11, 1924.
The operation of the apparatus is as follows After the apparatus has been inserted into 85 a trousers leg the slide Z) which at the lower end projects from the lower edge of the pocket a is pulled down so that pin 0 is pulled out of engagement with notch f and enters the slot cl so that the slide is moved forward by the pull exerted by the rubber bands 9 and the rear edge of the pocket a and the front edge of slide Z) are pressed into the opposite creases of the trousers leg.
I claim A trousers press comprising in combination a pocket made of suitable material having a bayonet slot in its top plate, a slide made of suitable material movably mounted in the pocket, a pin on said slide engaging with said bayonet slot of the pocket, and rubber bands attached at the one end to said pocket and at the other end to said slide and designed to pull the slide partly out of the pocket when said pin is released from the notch of said bayonet slot so that the'edge of said pocket and the edge of: said slide are strongly pressed into the opposite creases of f the trousers leg.
In testimony whereof we aflix our signatures.
