Be it known thatI, CHARLES BULKLEY, "of the city'of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvw nia, have invented an Improved Tooth-Brush,
of which the following is a specification:

which is fastened by a post running through it and the handle otth'hrnsh, and tightened by turning the thumb-piece e. An upright piece, I), is fastened by a. hinge-joint at' to the tooth-pick d. At the top of the upright piece I) is a small hole or hook, h, towhich a cord or thread can be fastened, and also drawn tightly through and fastened at the small ring or hook at g, and thus form the how-string i, for cleaning the space between the teeth.
When the tooth-pick is tobe used, by turning the thumb piece e, the whole device can be reversed in position, when thenpright piece 1) falls on the handle, and the tooth-pick 01 projects beyond the handle, ready for use, and is again secured by turning the thumb- 'pieee e.
I claim as my invention-- An'improved tooth-brush with its metallic attachments in b c d e f and the cord 1 substantially as set forth, in the manner above described.
