@ne object oi the invention is to provide` a tent traine which can be quickly and easily toldcd into a small compact bundle ror set up in a position to receive the canopy. g

Ar 'further object of the invention isV4 to pr vide such a tent traine with a seat which inay be 'folded with the traine when the latter is folded.

A :further object ot the invention is to provide such a structure in which the several parts will he permanently connected one to the other, thereby not only avoiding the danger of loss of parts but also'iiacilitating the settingl up of the structure.

A 'further object of the invention is tol provide a structure which will be siinple in construction, of a strong durable'character and which can he produced at ay relatively low cost.

Other objects of the invention will appear as the device is described in detail.

A suitable tent cover or `canopy is connected with the upper portion ot the iti-aine vand extends downwardly about "the several sides thereof toenclose the traine structure. lt will be understood, however, that the structure as a whole may take various toi-ins without departing ronipthc spirit of the invention.

The several upright ineinhers are connected one to the other by suitable `folding connecting devices which may take `various forms. As here shown, each connecting del' vice comprises intersecting bars l()k pivot ally connected one to the other at their point ot intersection. The lower-ends oiE the re spcctive bars are pivotally mounted 'on the uprights, the pivotall connections l'ieing preferably lixed with relation lto the up# rights. A suitable tent cover or canopy, preterably otl duck or canin s, is (onnectcd with the tent trame at the upper end there-ot and extends downwardly about the several sides 'thereof to a position near the ground. This canopy, which is here shown at 23, is detachably connected with the tent traine and is preferably provided with rings 24: adapted to hook over the upper ends of the uprights, thus enabling the canopy to be quickly and easily connected with the trame and properly positioned with. relation thereto; The lower edges of the canopy are provided with pins orstales 25 which may be pressed into the ground to properly secure this lowerl edge of the canopy. The canopy is. preterably in one piece and its vertical edges overlap at the Jfront ot. the t amcand are secured at their upper edges to the togglel. I have provided. a toldablc tent otthis character which'is ver] simple in its construction, which is light in weight and ort a strong durable character and which maybe quickly folded intoi a small compact bundle and. likewise may be quickly and easilyy extended or set up, and the canopy :ipplied thereto. The seat is oi such a charac ter' that, it can be folded and extended along with the frame and may be quickly moved into and secured in its operativevposition. rllhe whole structure is. ot such a character that it can b e manufactured at a relatively low cost. l. In a" structure 'of the character 'described, a fold-able frame comprising upright members movable toward and from each other to collapse said structure, and a.

seat supported by said frame and comprising parts movable one toward the other to permit said seat to be folded when said structure is collapsed.

In a structure of the character described, a :toldable frame comprising upright members,ffoldable devices connecting said upright members one with the other, a seat oldable with said frame members, and means for connecting said seat with said fame independently of said connecting devices. y 3. In a structure of the character described, a llcldable frame comprising' upright members movable toward and from each other to collapse said f1'ame,"and a seat supported by said frame, movable into a plane substantially parallel with the vertical plane extending through two of said upright members and comprising parts movable with relation one to the other rwhen the last mentioned upright members are moved one toward the other.

Ina structure of the character described, a foldable frame comprising upright members movable toward and from each other, a Seat comprising a plurality of curved bars arranged to form substantially an annulus and having their adjacent ends pivotally connected one to theV other, and arms rigidly secured to the respective seat members and extending from the lateral edges of said seat to the respective upright members, and means foreconnecting said arms with said upright members.
